I’m terrible at doing my hair and can’t curl my hair with anything- not straightening irons, not curling irons, not wands etc. I was nervous to buy this due to the price and then not be able to figure it out, but I’ve been absolutely amazed. It is so easy to use and I’ve been curling my hair almost every day with it for my little bit of “me time” during the pandemic. I love it!

This machine blew me away from the start. It's almost as if Dyson knew everything I was personally struggling with, when it comes to my hair, and created this magic machine. Forget having to use 3 different machines and 3 different brushes, the airwrap literally covers it all in one. I have very long, curly, and fairly delicate hair so not having to use a hot iron and being able to achieve sleek and shiny hair with just hot or warm air is a game changer. Not to mention the literal magic in innovation that is the coanda effect. You have to see it to believe it! Best machine on the market hands down!

My hair feels amazing!

I received this as a Christmas present. The blow dryer is amazing and using the comb attachment my hair has never felt softer. However the air wrap curler does not work for me at all. I get curls initially but after about 20 to 30 minutes they fall out even with no hair products, lots of products different types of moose gels hairsprays, nothing seems to work. I followed the instructions and watch a couple of tutorial videos and nothing that will make the curls stick. It’s the only thing that I am frustrated with and wish worked better. For the amount of time it takes to use the curl attachment I wish it did work better for curls. However the hairdryer and brush attachments are awesome!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Getting to know it.

I received this for Christmas. So far I like it. My hair feels better. I’m in the learning curve and still run a flat iron over my bangs and ends. Not sure I understand how to use it. My stepdaughter uses it to curl her hair and it will last all day. I am trying to use it because I know it was expensive but not sure if it’s for me yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Dyson Airwrap Styler was designed for those who want the versatility of a styler to create curls and waves, or a smooth finish. Dyson Airwrap wraps entirely through the use of airflow and the naturally occurring phenomenon of the Coanda effect. Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls.
For best results, start with freshly washed hair. All three brushes can be used on wet hair, but the barrels work best on damp hair. Use the Pre-styling dryer to dry hair to damp before styling with the barrels. When your hair is damp dry, it will look dry but feel cold to the touch.
