Dyson Air Wrap

I had been looking at the Air Wrap for quite some time. I watched several You Tube videos on it. The thing that made me wait was the price. Finally, I decided I would invest in it. I am very glad I did. It is so much fun to use. I dry the roots on my hair almost all the way dry but leaving the mid shaft and ends very damp. It works so well doing this. It took me two different times using it until I felt comfortable. Now, I love doing my hair with it. It makes such beautiful curls that hold up well. I spray them with a light hairspray and this helps the curl last. I love it!!

So much better than using an iron that burns your hair, plus I have weak wrists so the auto curl is fantastic! Would purchase it for daughter and recommend to others.

Dyson never ceases to amaze me, and the Airwrap Complete is no different. I have always had difficulty curling my hair. I have straight, silky Asian hair, so getting strands of my hair to wrap inside a curling iron or around a 'barrel' type of wand has always been extremely frustrating. The Dyson Airwrap solves this problem, and literally does the work for me. Just make sure your hair is damp, and the airflow simply attracts and self-wraps the hair around the barrel. No need to make any twisting motions! No more clamp marks!
Like any new device, it did take me a couple of tries to get this down though. There are 2 sets for barrels for each size - 1.2" and 1.6". Why two for each size, you may ask? Well each barrel has an arrow that points either up or down. Depending on the way you hold the wand, you choose the barrel on how you want to feed your hair (over the wand or under the wand).
I also experimented with all the attachments. My other favorite is the round volumizing brush. When I want to give my straight hair extra volume, I first curl my hair, and then use the round brush to soften the curls to add additional volume and shape. I haven't used the other two smoothing brushes as much, since my hair is naturally straight and silky,
As for the other features, I love the fact that the attachments don't get super hot. I can easily remove the heads by holding the top of the attachments, which are cool to the touch, The buttons on the styler main body are well positioned; there are three airflow speeds, 2 heat settings, plus a cold setting to finish your style. The Airwrap even comes with a pre-styling dryer (think: mini hair dryer) that can get your hair from wet to damp in no time.
Overall, I love the Airwrap. It makes styling my hair a breeze.

I am in love with everything dyson and this product did not disappoint! I LOVE how this machine is all the hair styling tools i would ever need in ONE! The hair dryer is as powerful than the supersonic hair dryer (which I could not live without prior to this machine), the comb attachments leave my hair silky smooth while drying at the same time, and the curls last all day without needing additional product! This product works great for me because I could style my hair right after the shower & I am so excited to not have to dry my hair to reheat to style ever again! My only wish is that the curling barrels to be a little wider for thicker hair. This machine is all the power & hair tools everyone should have!

I loved this so much I had to get one for my daughter. It is easy to use and I was able to perfect my technique after watching some videos. I hardly ever need my straight iron! My hair looks like a left the salon every time.

Hot curlers vs Air Wrap

Leaves hair dry and straw-like. Curls fall out quickly. It is easy to use, very quiet and is a quality product. Hot curlers hold the curl much longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great hairdryer but...

I love the hairdryer and the airwrap is wonderful but I have a lot of hair and it’s very time consuming. My hair is heavy and the airwrap will only allow me to take small sections or it just won’t pull it all in. The curls are beautiful and I think this will work awesome for some one with less hair.
