Mine acts like it’s over heating

I have had my Dyson since Feb 2020 and it has starting. To act like it was over heating. It has become progressively worse and now it is taking longer to start back up again. The red light on the bottom blink while it is stalled. I can’t even use it anymore.
It doesn’t matter what setting it’s in or what piece I have on top
I would recommend this to a friend!

Frizzy Hair!

No matter how much product or how well I follow instructions, I end up with lots of fuzzy or irregular texture. I have more frizzy hair with the Dyson Airwrap than any other device, like a regular blow dryer. Dissatisfied, not what I expected.

Game Changer

I won this at my office Christmas party after wanting one for YEARS. It's really a game changer. I'm terrible at curling my hair and have naturally stick straight hair, but my airwrap has made having beach wavy curls possible every single day. It takes probably about 10 extra minutes of my time in the morning to style my hair vs how long I was spending on just drying my hair with a basic revlon drier. I use heat protectant on my wet hair, Kevin Murphy antigravity spray before and after curling, a wide comb and BAM curls for days. I haven't had the issue of my curls falling at all. I've even worn day two curls that I jazzed up by just spritzing my hair with a spray water bottle and recurling the top layer. I'm only giving this a 4/5 though due to having zero luck with the flyaway attachment and having a harder time with the straight blow out. I have wild baby hairs that cannot be tamed by this attachment.

Definite learning curve

I got this for Mother’s Day and really like it but the tutorials on the Dyson app are not good enough to learn how to use it properly. YouTube is much more helpful and in depth. Curls falling out is a major complaint so you need to dry your hair much more than recommended by Dyson to get your hair to stay. Once I figured that out all was good!

I love the whole concept of the Dyson Airwrap but am having a very difficult time making my style last. I have read the other reviews, used the cool button, styling aids, etc and it still goes flat. I also wish it came with a large plastic round brush attachment as that dryer seems to work much better on my hair. Secondly, for the money paid, it should work in any country!

I got my air wrap a few weeks ago, and I’m really happy with it. I have shoulder length thick frizzy hair. I will say there is a learning curve to using the extensions. I also recommend knowing which products to use that will help your hair hold the style. For me personally, I am using the bumble and bumble heat protectant and IGK good behavior style cream.
The only extension I don’t like/use is the dryer. I have a dyson hair dryer and that is far superior to the dryer extension on this tool, not even comparable. That’s why I deducted a star.
My coworker and I both own an air wrap, we have very similar hair. We both recommend drying your hair completely then styling. But I would do what works for you.
For me, I put the products in damp hair, then I dry completely, then I style. I am able to achieve beach waves or a smooth blowout with ease. I noticed I see a longer hold using the highest heat setting.

I was hoping I wouldn’t love this and I could send it back lol. I’ve been wanting one for a few years now but the price always held me back but I finally ordered it. It took a few times to get the hang of it but my hair has way more body, dries super quick and feels healthier. My ends aren’t as dry. It’s soft and manageable and dare I say I get a couple more days out of shampooing. It’s relatively quiet and easy to handle. Attachments come off and on easily. Overall it’s a win and I’m keeping it! Would recommend. I have king thick wavy hair.
