This works well

I like this a lot. It helps to style the ends of my hair after I dry it with the brush. My hair is very smooth. A lot less damage than when I was using a curling iron on my ends.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dyson Airwrap wraps entirely through the use of airflow and the naturally occurring phenomenon of the Coanda effect. Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls.

I love this product - so well designed. My only complaint is that I wish I didn’t have to switch out the curling head in order to switch directions of the curl.

So easy and actually fun

Received my Dyson Airwrap just 2 days after I ordered it so FYI super fast shipping. This was an early birthday present for myself (12/24). I've been reading reviews and debating because of the price. Let me start by saying I am Asian, shoulder length hair with long layers. My hair is very thick, coarse and takes quite a long time to dry. If you are on the fence you need to buy this. I can do it with one hand, the attachments curl in opposite directions depending on what you want. The mini dryer is perfect and the temperatures are yours to control. I just bought the Smooth/Control styler because I only needed the barrel attachments. I love that I can start doing my hair when it's still damp. Definitely worth it.

I received the Dyson Airwrap styler as a gift and I love it! It wraps my hair and curls it so easily, it creates a beautiful style with minimal effort on my part, it really is like magic! It's light weight and I also use it as a hair dryer and straightener so I feel like I have three styling tools in one. I highly recommend this product.

Not for long hair

I’ve had this for a couple weeks and I’m not in love with it and for the price you definitely should be! I have long thick wavy hair and it take FOREVER to curl and it doesn’t hold for more than an hour. It’s not worth the money honestly. I wish I could return to get a full refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Smooth + Control Styler was designed for those who are seeking to smooth and control their frizz-prone hair. The firm smoothing brush tool creates a straighter style with less frizz and flyaways, and the soft smoothing brush creates a smooth, blow-dry finish.
The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If your experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

Like every princess needs her magic wand, every person needs the newest launch by Dyson in hair care products. It is an all in one tool that magically transforms and smooth hair without the need for a big collection of hair tools (and plugs). The wand has three settings,for temperature and power. My kit came with a mini dryer for when a need to make sure my hair is fully dry. It also came with a smoothing brush so I said farewell to the 8 brushes I have currently collected. The brush along with the heat, instantly smooths and shines my hair. I wake up each morning in need of fresh hair, and a few swipes over my hair and my think bangs, and voila, in 5 minutes, I can walk out the door. The coolest attachments are the curling wands in different sizes to make waves and curls. Once you have the technique down, the wand (by some centrifugal force of nature) grabs your hair for a perfect beach waves and curls. It's really amazing! So put away all of the irons and curlers and straightening brushes. All you need is Dyson!

I wish I had this in high school

This is the best hairstyling tool I've ever used. It's saving me so much time. No need to use a separate flat or curling iron. And I don't feel like I'm damaging my hair. My only criticism is that it tends to feel a bit heavy after a while, but I love it.
