Don’t know how I lived without it!

Hi, too, received this as a Christmas gift from my super thoughtful husband. All I can say, this is an amazing styling tool and worth every cent. It is super easy to use and your hair comes out salon quality and super shiny. I can’t say enough about the Dyson Airwrap!

Great product when it worked

I loved the airwrap, but I was never once able to get through all of my hair before it overheated and turned off for an hour. I have shoulder length hair that is thinner. The airwrap
Would curl 1/2 my head and leave me stranded with 1/2 a head curled and the other 1/2 wet. The worst part is once it over heats it will not function for at least an hour. I had to return it unfortunately. It was a cool concept. For the price tag I expected it to work for a long time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it every time I have washed my hair since. It is very easy to use, especially after watching a couple of YouTube videos. It also makes my hair feel so soft.
One thing I am struggling with is how long the style holds. When I use the curling attachments, the curls only stay for a couple of hours before falling out, which is disappointing. Overall though a very good hair tool!

I purchased this model a month ago, It drys my hair fast & speeds up styling time. My hair is 10* past shoulder length, longer barrels are needed.

Professional blow dry at hom

I can’t recommend enough this hair dryer. I was very bad at doing blow dries, but the Dyson makes it easy and fast. I can create straight or wavy and lasts for days. I have fine little hair and every time I use the Dyson it looks like I just went to the hair dresser. Definitely worth the price.

Curl doesn't hold

For the price, I thought this would be a home run. Sadly it fell short. I usually have no problem with my hair holding a curl. Using the Dyson, they barely last an hour before falling out. The brush attachments don't smooth much, but more make my hair a fluffy poofy mess. I found that the Dyson makes a simple task of doing my hair into a much bigger fuss than it needs to be. The "case" is HUGE and heavy. Not practical at all for travel, it really should have included a bag for all the attachments to go in. Sadly I am going to have to return this. It's not worth keeping for just the blow dry attachments.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.
