Unfortunately this was purchased as a gift for me from Germany. It is not dual power and I won't be able to use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Expensive for what it is

I have fine medium length hair. My hair is hard to style- I've used flatirons to curl my hair with success.
On to my review: First off- you need to be very careful about overheating the tool- it overheats quite easy- if you don't use that cold shot button and rest the tool in between sections, your airwarp will shut off for a few **minutes**.
The tool provides lot of body- but the curls do not stay. In twenty minutes my style was flat and my curls gone (they fell out to waves). To get an all day style, I have to re-style my hair half way through the day. This is a huge con for me.
The pro's are my hair feels wonderful after styling and it doesn't take very long- because your adding the style as you dry your hair & the body when it is first done is amazing- I wish I could figure how to hold on to that!

Shuts off

I had this for a week and for 3 days in a row after using it for 5 minutes it would shut off. I dried a section of hair then turned it off to take down a new section of hair and it wouldn't turn back on at all. Was really excited for this but ended up returning it right away
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Im a boy and i have very short hair it it doesnt work at ALL!!!!!!! EXTREME waste of my time and money. I wish i could give this product a below 1 star rating but that's not possible.

Best. Purchase. Ever!

While getting my hair done at the salon, my stylist told me that I should buy the Dyson Airwrap. (I am notoriously lazy when it comes to my thick, long hair and often just dried quickly and put in bun, rather than spend a ton of time drying it straight!) She told me this would be just like brushing my hair. I went to purchase, and they were sold out everywhere, so I had to wait nearly 3 months, but I finally got it and it is, hands down, the best purchase I have made for my hair, ever! Drying is cut in half, even less than half, and all I have to do is use the "smooth" brush attachment, and my hair is silky straight in no time at all. The device is not loud at all, easy to handle, and comfortable in my hand. It does exactly what it says it will. The cost is expensive, but it is so worth it considering the ease of which it dries, and styles your hair. Highly recommend!

This is definitely expensive and I was debating on buying for at least 2 years. I finally decided to treat myself and I should have treated myself 2 years ago. This is amazing! The curler attachment is sooooo easy and I can do my whole head in 10 minutes! You will not regret it!

A great tool

I have had mine for 9 months now.
Hair type: thick, frizzy, coarse
I really only use the brush attachments. This tool has been a game changer. I can do at home styled blowouts in no time. This is awesome because I have never been able to style my crazy difficult hair on my own. For the first time in my life I can wear my hair down and not in a bun or ponytail all the time.
The curling attachments didn’t really work for me, but my hair has never held a curl at all. Even when the professionals did it.
Cost: to me it is worth the money. I no longer go to the hair salon with a big messy nasty bun for my stylist to sort out. I can maintain and tame my hair at home now. I don’t spend as much on products and tools, and go to the salon less.
Overall I give it 4 stars because a lot of the attachments are not usable for certain hair types. They should be optional.
Overall very happy with the product and I think it will pay for itself in salon savings!
I would recommend this to a friend!
