It’s okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to get this since everyone loves it. However, it’s not as easy to do it yourself … seems super easy but at times it won’t grab my hair well. Also I wish it was cordless and lighter my hands get tired of holding it . I’m a little disappointed but I already bought . Baby steps in learning how to use it well.

It's disappointing to hear that it's not meeting or exceeding your expectations. We can confirm that there is definitely a learning curve when using this device. It can take some time to get used to the barrels and different attachments. It's also useful to experiment with how dry you get your hair before styling, or if starting with dry hair, how wet to dampen each section as you style. We do offer a 30-day return period, as we really want owners to try out our technology, and make sure that it's a great fit.

I considered purchasing the Dyson Airwrap for months. I watched hours of YouTube videos on products to use with my fine, straight hair. Once I finally took the plunge and purchase the Airwrap, I have not regretted it for a minute! It only took me about 3 uses to get down a process that would work best for me to dry and style my hair. I love it and would highly recommend this product! I use 1 tool for drying and styling and my hair looks amazing. Because of the products I use with the Airwrap, I get lots of bounce and lift to my style and very little fall out at the end of the day. Watching influencer videos and learning about how to use the Airwrap in addition to watching the Dyson app videos, it was quick and easy for me to start styling in a way that was amazing for me!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Big Dyson fan here. We have 2 of the Dyson vacuums, a regular hairdryer, and light fixture. I first bought the Dyson Airwrap as a gift for my niece. Then, after hearing how much she loved it, I bought one for myself. A little bit of a learning curve, but my oh my it is so worth it. My hair looks and feels great. Very happy with my purchase.

Not for all hair types

I'm disappointed with the results of this product and feel I wasted money. It works well by taking the hair in and drying it as promised. However, even using different hair products to assist the hold, curls and waves fall out within an hour. I watched the instruction videos and definitely held both the heat and cold shot for appropriate amounts of time. I have great hold when I use a traditional curling iron. This one isn't for me. It's also way overpriced in my opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Useless on thick coarse hair

I really wanted to love this and was so excited to get it! I have given it several chances. Watched several tutorials. It takes so much longer than my usual routine (blow dryer and straightener) and it doesn't deliver ANY results. Styles don't hold. It makes my hair poofy.
I got this as a gift, so I'm only keeping it for sentimental value. But if I had paid for it, it would've gone straight back
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice, but Lacks better brush attachments for the $

The air wrap is ok, but I really wish they had better brush attachments. Unfortunately for me, I still have to use my dry bar double shot to smooth my hair. The brush attachment rips my hair out. It's unfortunate that Dyson has not added a bigger dry brush like the Drybar double shot. I really love that brush.The Double bristles is perfect.. If they did, the air wrap would be a slam dunk. I do love the curls and the fact that it is less damaging.. Howerver I don't benefit fully, because I have to use a different blow brush to dry. (Come on Dyson add more brush Attachments with better bristles because the one that comes with the air wrap rips my hair out. :( So if you're looking for beautiful curls, the air wrap will do a perfect job but that's about it.

Beyind excited to revive such an amazing Christmas present, so excited i gave away my theorie blow dryer and curling iron. Within less of 2 months of using the dyson air wrap it stopped working. Finally navigated the warranty, which wasn't too bad, but still waiting in my replacement product 16 days after shipping the non working air wrap back. Important events have happened, and another one to come tomorrow. Being without hair styling tools is a huge heart break.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
