Love but curl leave bumps in hair

I’ve had this for around 8 months now and I can’t seem to perfect the curl attachment. I see people use it all the time and not have this issue don’t know if they’re hiding it or what but it’s very irritating and would like to figure out how to have it not happen… every other tool attachment works perfectly. My hair is basic white girl hair, not too thin or thick. I’ve tried it with lower heat higher heat. More hair, less hair. Wet, damp, dry. And nothing seems to help so I opt to just curl with my curling iron. Very upset considering I bought this product to replace my classic curling iron.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Game changer

This tool has changed our lives. My daughter and I use it everyday. I love the design it’s super comfortable, not heavy (if you have long hair you know what I mean) it’s not awkward at all. The curls are amazing 15 seconds then a shot of cold air and the end result is lovely. I think it is quite worth the investment. Dyson renders a great product that is well designed and efficient. Actually it outperformed my expectations.

Not worth it

I bought this a month ago and I am still unable to get a hang of it. My curls do not stay for more than an hour. I have been using hair spray and other hair products too but my curls do not stay.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.

Great styling, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve bed using this for two weeks now. I have long straight hair and usually it takes at least 20 minutes to blow dry and then styling. But I only spend 20 minutes for blow drying and styling! It’s quick and easy. Depending on what you use and how you used, you can make your hair different everyday!
I even got a comment on my hair that I look like an actress😆

Helps my frizzy hair

No matter what products i use my hair is always frizzy after showering. The Dyson works great at smoothing everything down and making it soft. I have thin hair and the air wrap works great on my hair. Curls hold longer when i use moose.

Great, but not for long

Bought an Airwrap mid 2021 and initially it worked well. Now, the attachments don't stay locked in and come out in my hair when I'm trying to style it. Contacted the company and was told to bring it to a Service Center. I brought it and they said they couldn't fix that part of the machine and I'd have to buy a new one. For the price paid, I feel it should last longer than the 2/12 years it lasted. Not to mention, the Service Center repair man said that they have many reported issues with this model and Dyson offers nothing to help fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're happy to hear that initially, you found that your Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler worked so well. It's rather unusual to hear that after some use, the attachments are no longer staying attached. The are designed to twist and lock into place on this appliance. If the unit is outside of warranty, we can have your unit inspected at a service center, as you know. At that time, they can determine if the issue is repairable. If the issue is something with the main body, which it sounds like might be happening here, that would generally need to be resolved by replacing that main body part. If the guarantee did mature, that would be something that is chargeable. We'd love to learn more to see what's going on with your device. Feel free to email us directly at askdysonUS@dyson.com.

It takes a while to get a hang of it but it’s cool

I was super excited to get this and waited months for it to come back in stock. The first few times were kind of discouraging. The curls wouldn’t stay and it took a long time to do my hair, however, I watched a few YouTube videos and now I think I’ve got the hang of it. It still takes a while to do my hair, but the curls stay and my hair feels so soft and healthy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
