Absolutely Awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive had mine now for a tad over a month. I absolutely love it! Its perfect in every way and makes the best drinks I've ever had. Its so easy to use and has so many functions to assist you in anything you do. Your drinks are customizable in so many different ways. There's really not a single complaint I can think of? Maybe possibly include some descale tabs or an extra filter? That would be the only thing I could think of. Its super super quiet. I also have a Delonghi Dinamica Connect, and this Kitchenaid destroys my Delonghi

Amazingly easy to use

Wow what a luxe item that's so easy to use. I've had the machine a month now and I'm thoroughly impressed. You load the machine with your choice of coffee bean and milk (which you store in a removable milk tank for easy storage in the fridge between uses) and fill with water then your drink of choice is ready to be made in minutes.
The machine will run a rinse cycle at start up and then you have multiple choices for drink options. At the end of use you run another rinse before turning the machine off. It also comes with other cleaning modes for more thorough cleaning.
Kitchenaid included a small recipe book which I really appreciated. Pictured is an one of the recipes included. The basic latte machiatto is my favorite so far, I add a little brown sugar in the cup before brewing and it's ready within minutes. You can save some of your favorite drinks for ease of access. You can select how many shots you'd like in your drink, the size, and temperature. Customization is a strong point of this product.
The machine itself isn't wildly large. It sits nicely on the counter while taking up a small amount of space; it's worth it. It's sleek and modern looking so having it on the counter for display sparks small conversation and a gives a fun luxury in home experience for my guests.

A triumph of design
on August 5, 2025

Among other things, we are writers and do web design and other creative projects. We bought this for the office and find it a triumph of design, engineering, and intuitive user experience. For anyone who loves the ritual of espresso but not the relentless upkeep that comes with most machines, we have found this one to be a revelation.
There are 12 drink choices to choose from and each can be fully personalized and saved under one’s own profile.
First, we appreciate the self-cleaning feature, which is a great innovation. It doesn’t just help—it overrides human laziness. This machine anticipates the very human tendency to skip cleaning “just this once” (which turns into a week), and automates it away. The result: a clean machine, all without relying on our memory, mood, or motivation. It’s like having a butler built into your espresso station, rather than being a slave to complex cleaning routines.
The generous water tank is another masterstroke. Easy to access, it holds more than enough for multiple rounds of espresso, cappuccino, and lattes without constant refilling, as well as the water required for cleaning. We use a 1.5 pint glass Voss bottle filled with water next to our machine for ease of filling
In our office, we love the aesthetics. The machine walks the fine line between retro and modern, and does it beautifully. The curves nod to vintage appliances, while the controls and digital precision is firmly 21st century.
But beyond the looks, this is a machine loaded with well-thought-out features: dual boilers for simultaneous brewing and steaming, precise temperature control, intuitive interface, and sturdy portafilters that feel like professional gear. You get café-level performance, but with a surprising amount of ease.
What truly stands out, though, is the intelligence of the design. Everything has a purpose. Nothing feels extraneous. This is engineering that understands not only how espresso works—but how people work. That’s important in our office - the machine automatically makes sure it stays clean, makes it simple, and displays the easy preparation steps on the screen.
We love the many different drinks this machine crafts and the ability to modify our drink preferences down to the last detail. The machine even has rear wheels for ease when moving it. We wanted a machine that would work with us—not against us (i.e., complicated cleaning). For our office (and I am planning one for my home) this machine is worth the investment.

Not good for real espresso

I bought this a few weeks ago and I am so disappointed. If you like milk drink or just coffee this is a good product. If you want a nice clean pull if espresso, this is not for you. Using the freshest beans it still pulls sour shots he has the ratios are incorrect for a proper pull. Couldn't be more unsatisfied with my purchase that I dropped all this money for an over priced coffee maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Impressive product.

I have another version of the automatic kitchenaid espresso machine at my house, and I have had it for quite some time now. I have to say that they are impressive via the fact that they last a long time, and are well made. Maintenance is quite obvious and simple, and the coffee that my machine makes is extraordinary. I am hopeful to jump the leap and may soon go ahead to grab the new espresso machine, and will likely expect amazing improvements.
