I bought this machine about two weeks now and it is up and beyond anything I hoped for.i am so happy I bought it.Diffently worth the money

Horrible

Third machine I received that was defective. First one just stopped working, second one the grinder wasn’t working correctly and third is leaking. Currently in the process of trying to return it and the process has been so frustrating. I’ve been on the phone with many reps- some helpful, some not and the issue is still unresolved. I do not recommend an espresso machine from Kitchenaid. Better go with Breville or the other many options out there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Avoid at all costs, seriously.

My wife's most sacred part of the day has always been coffee so I got her this to replace the first generation Semi Automatic Espresso machine since it didn't have an integrated burr grinder. We have had a TON of issues with this and has ruined my wife's routine for drinking coffee in the morning. The quality of the machine is no where near the quality of products KitchenAid usually delivers. The grinder works great but everything else about the machine is awful. We've tried 3 different types of beans, tweaked every setting for each bean type, and espresso sparingly gets disbursed. We have to click the brew button 3-9 times to get a single cup of espresso. After the 4th time, the espresso starts tasting burnt. Instead, the machine floods the retention tray with water so in the process of doing this you must empty out the water tray EVERY TIME you brew. Its ridiculous. We finally sent in the machine to "get repaired" which they said would take 4-5 weeks. I have zero confidence this machine will get repaired and I want my money back or a completely different machine because this one is NOT worth the money at all.
@KitchenAid please do the right thing and give us credit to own another machine of yours that works.

Great coffee but was treated like trash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Portafilter and water filter holder came broken call for replacement rep was nice but the replacement was use and most likely defective part.
Portafilter had black residual still on it and unpolish compared to the one that came in the box.
The water filter holder had some kind of white residual
I ain’t asking for the whole thing to be replaced just what was broke. But being send part that is so disgusting really

Really Disappointing
