Product information on website is wrong

It's been 5 years since reported by a previous reviewer and you are still misleading your customers with wrong information on the website. The simple fact is that the product page says the clamping voltage is 330v and the product box says the clamping voltage is 500v. It does not matter if the UL specification has changed, both of those numbers can't be right, so one is wrong. If the clamping voltage is really 500v then update the product information on the website to be correct, so that people who are looking for a lower clamping voltage (such as myself and the previous reviewer) don't buy the wrong product. BTW, I really like the design of the product and believe Belkin generally makes good products, I'm just looking for a lower clamping voltage so will have to go through the hassle of returning this.

Specs are WRONG

As people have siad in the Q&A section, the clamping voltage on this "protector" is 500V which is a very poor protector. The box and the unit say this so not sure why they are lying on this site saying it is 330. I will be returning mine and buying a different brand!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The 330V is the old UL standard. Now, the UL Standard requires a 400V to 500V and all of our current surge protectors meet that new requirement. Clamping voltage is the highest voltage that will develop across an MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor or surge protection device) based on an energy level. The new UL test standard provides more energy per time than the old test, so the clamping voltage goes up to about 400V or higher. The MOV is still the same MOV. It is the UL certification test that has changed, not the MOV.

Poorly thought out design

Given the orientation of the screw mounting holes and the cord and switch, it's impossible to mount this unit to the wall in an orientation that makes sense.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A solid surge protector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is solid surge protector with good spacing for plugs. It's got a long cable and a right angle plug which is also a nice feature. My only complaint would be the lack of a cable/satellite in/out. But as I wasn't using this for a tv it's not an issue. It does have a phone jack surge protector but those are becoming less and less useful as time goes on.

They are there when you need them, ready to alleviate any electrical surges that might fry your expensive equipment. That said, this product definitely works as advertised and, I think, looks nice compared to other brands surge protectors. Plenty of outlets and having the phone protection is an added bonus m. Quality built. Highly recommend

Looks and works good

I work from home and use laptop, monitor, printer etc on daily basis and needed something to declutter the space as well as protect my devices from power surges. It has nice color and design. It’s very easy to setup and has 8 outlets to plug in all required devices and use without worrying about device damage.Love that it has slide protectors for not in use plugs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Keeps cords organized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to us on a busy outlet. The clips are nice to keep the cords under control. There are sliders to keep things from getting into unused outlets. Plenty of space for the low voltage blocks, too. Offset plug doesn't block the other outlet.
