High Refresh Rate for Reasonable Price from Acer!

I purchased this monitor to play my new Nintendo Switch 2 in docked mode on the go, and in any room in my house. After dialing in settings that need more attention, like HDR, I'm really really enjoying my gaming experience!
The price mark is just right for a portable monitor that has features like a high refresh rate from a name brand like Acer. The packaging was solid and the monitor itself is crafted well and feels solid.
I don't have as high a standard as someone who knows the "science" behind technology like HDR and I haven't measured these features with any diagnostic tools, but I feel that every feature that's promoted for this monitor works well, and it works well for any monitor not just a portable monitor. The refresh rate gets automatically detected and switches over seamlessly, and the HDR, once properly configured looks great. The HDR is HDR10, but the difference it creates has a nice impact on my experience. I have an Acer Nitro V laptop with a 165hz 3ms HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display, and the portable monitor matches its quality, in my opinion.
I gave the monitor a 5 start review, but I would have given it a 4.5 if I had the option to give half points. The cover that acts like a stand is on the flimsy side. It does the job its intended to, but its very sensitive and doesn't prevent the monitor from slowly sliding down, or it will collapse if the monitor is SLIGHTLY shifted or knocked. Also, the brightness is low if your room lighting is high, but the descripton is very clear about the brightness rating. My review wouldn't change for the brightness because it's clearly stated in the description. There is a bit of backlight bleeding, but that is expected with an LCD IPS panel, and it doesn't interrupt my gaming experience or bother me when I'm playing - it's not noticeable if I'm not looking for it; again, this is expected with this type of panel, so it wouldn't change my rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor for uhhhh work lol 😆 I get a few hours of gaming in with this thing and it's literally perfect. I connect my xbox series s and play both multi-player and story mode games without any complaints.
