[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't you hate the chirp, chirp, chirp of a dead battery in your smoke detector, especially at night when you are trying to sleep? You plan to purchase new batteries the next day but forget. Irritating chirp continues while you weigh whether to just remove the annoyance. A better option, in my opinion, is to keep a few spare ones in a handy spot, one that won't be forgotten when you need them. With Duracell Coppertop quality you can feel confident that they will perform right out of the box, unlike the cheaper brands. That's why Duracell is my first choice when buying batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Duracell is a long-lasting battery. I like that it has a 5-year shelf life. I like that this comes in a package of two so I always have a spare on hand. What I don't like is the packaging. It is difficult to open and difficult to store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Duracell brand 9 volt batteries for my smoke detectors. Other brands have good power at the start, but seem to die really fast. I've had good luck with the Duracells lasting longer for the small power draw of a smoke detector. For higher draw stuff they seem similar to other brands and about the same price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Duracell is such a big quality battery brand which I know will last for years to come! We use the 9V batteries for smoke detectors and we haven't changed them once. I would highly recommend Duracell over the generic store brand batteries. (Which we have had to replace!)
