Packaging is easy to open, battery expiration is in distant future (2027), and product worked as desired for smoke detector. Only needed one battery, so second battery will be perfect for backup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Duracell 9 volt batteries exclusively for my smoke detectors for years. It's been a couple years and I just heard a detector chirping last week so I knew I needed to purchase more. They just outlast all the other brands...period. They might be on the pricier side but they are well worth the money. I highly recommend these types of batteries by the Duracell brand.
