I like that they are guaranteed for 10 years in storage. They are my go to battery. I needed D batteries for my flashlight for hurricane season.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Duracell has always been the top competitor in the battery industry. When the package states they are good for 10 years I truly believe them. I have also have felt Duracell batteries tend to have less corrosion or battery acid over time. Very reliable and durable brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had a need for a D battery in a while, but somehow my dad found an old (super old, like how does this thing even work anymore old) flashlight that surprisingly needed these batteries. The Duracell's work well and hopefully it'll keep this flashlight in use for more years to come. I have to add that I understand the security factor of this type of packaging, but I always worry I'm going to slice my fingers prying the plastic open to get to the batteries!
