[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the Duracell D batteries are guaranteed 10 yrs in storage. I'm using the D battery in my large flashlights that I don't use on a regular basis. These flashlights are usually used when the power goes out or when we get our supplies ready for hurricane season. At least I won't worry about the batteries working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These may not be the least expensive batteries, but they are hands down the very best. I use these for my kid's battery operated toys and scooters since they last the longest. Nothing worse than a toy dying right in the middle of a play date! They don't corrode or leak, so I feel good about using them in my kid's toys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Duracell batteries are a top brand. This packaging is very durable. Duracell D batteries seem to be more dependable and longer lasting than other brands. I am happy with my purchase. I recommend the battery and brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The D4 batteries are used in my automatic trash can and other appliances in the house. I like the long shelf life of the batteries since I like keeping stock of the product. The only issue I had was it was difficult to open the plastic packaging and it would be nice if there is a different mechanism to open it will be good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How can you review batteries? They either work or they don't. But quite simply, these Duracell batteries worked. they did power my device. I know this is going to sound weird, but they powered them better than other batteries that I've had. I was using them in flashlights and the light appeared brighter? Maybe that was because it was a new battery, but it was noticeable.

The fact that they have a 10-year guarantee is something that totally sets them apart from their competitors. These D batteries go great and flashlights and last for so many years before needing to be replaced.
