Non-medicated allergy relief

I was given the opportunity to test the Honeywell Power Insight True Hepa allergen remover tower with Shoppers Army in exchange for my honest review. I tested the air filter for about a week prior to reviewing it.
My first impression was that the machine looked very slick with its LCD display. I liked that it came with different filtration powers depending on my need. I also appreciated the colour indicators telling me how my air quality was. It felt very advanced. As a mother who placed this machine outside of my children's bedrooms, I also appreciated how quiet it was and that the lights could be dimmed or turned off completely depending on what I wanted. Honestly, if I listen for it, I can hear it going but its sound tends to blend in with the ambient noise in the home.
The day that I started using the machine, I had contracted a cold from my children. I will never be entirely certain if or how much it helped, but my husband never contracted my cold. I also noticed that my regular morning allergy symptoms were milder and my throat felt less constricted than it usually did with my dust allergy when I woke up.
As a lifelong allergy sufferer who tires of constantly taking medication, anything that I can do to assist with this problem is helpful. I do believe that the air I'm breathing now is cleaner and less full of particulates than it was. As a mom to school aged children, I will also be thankful for this machine during cold and flu season when my kids inevitably bring viruses home. If it can help reduce the spread of sickness, it will be worth running it.

Fresh air at home

I have received Honeywell air purifier 10 days ago and I have been using it since then. First I have experimented with it by taking it to every room to check the air quality in each room. It is great that it has a display to show the air quality. Green means good air quality, red means you definitely need to put this air purifier to work there.
It is super easy to setup. The handle makes it easy to carry around. You can make it work in 4 modes. Quiet clean, general clean, allergen and auto. I mostly used it in auto mode. Filter check signal will show you when to replace your filter.
It is very stylish and elegant. Digital displays are designed very stylish. This is an air purifier which I would be proud to put in my living room.
Hepa filter is great for capturing %99.97 of microscopic allergens which is amazing.
After using this for a while I realized the air feels more fresh more breathable. In winter time we rarely open windows or doors so this is definitely helping with air quality.
This purifier will definitely help with allergies, pet odours or the particles left behind after renovation, highly recommended.

Honeywell HEPA Tower Air Purifier

With a pet in the house and us always having allergies, we were looking for an air purifier to use in a bedroom or a main room. Since this was the Doctor's choice I was happy to get this product to try especially since it covers up to 200 sq ft large rooms. I found the tower quite high so you will have to find a nice corner for it. It's easy to turn on and use. Has multiple touch control features as well helps reduce odors and cleans your air from unwanted air particles like viruses, bacteria and mould spores. Has a light display for you to know how clean your air is. Red/yellow/green.I was not a fan of the air filter cover as it is very easy to slip off almost can fall off on its own. The filter if not supported by the door will fall out on its own also. I expected it to be more fitting. Overall it's a great little/big air purifier that does the job

Sleek and easy to use

I experience seasonal and environmental allergies so I was excited to try this air purifier in my small house. I like how sleek the air purifier is, the all black design and the easy touch buttons on top. The instructions are pretty straightforward and the HEPA filters were easy to install.
I had this air purifier turned on in the living room, this is where my dog hangs out most of the day. My dog has short fur but sheds like crazy everyday, I am forever vacuuming up her fur throughout the house. My dog enjoyed the nice airflow coming from this unit. I enjoyed not having to deal with as much pet dander and household dust, and was happy to observe that my allergy sniffles did lessen somewhat during the time I had the unit turned on. I played around with the settings, I like how there's an auto mode that constantly monitors the air quality in the room when the unit is on with very handy light indicators. When the air purifier is on the lowest setting, it is pretty quiet. On the highest setting, the air purifier is a little loud like a portable fan on high speed.
Now, as the pollen count wasn't as high in the winter months, I cannot comment how well this air purifier workers during high pollen season (spring and summer), but I look forward to trying it out during those seasons after seeing how well it worked with pet dander and household dust.

Excellent Quiet HEPA Air Purifier!

After using the Honeywell Power Insight True Hepa allergen remover tower for over a week, I have already noticed a difference in my home. It has been running quietly in the corner of my family room, working away. Having 2 dogs and a cat, there are lots of days where all members of my house sneeze regularly. Since using the tower, we are all breathing easier. While none of us have allergies, we are sensitive to pet dander and the HEPA filter is certified to capture up to 99.97% of dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mite debris and smoke. It helps reduce odours, which is great for us with no range hood fan in the attached kitchen.
The tower is very modern and attractive with a sleek black exterior that doesn't stand out in a room. It has coloured lights on the front, the InSight Display, that shows air quality (green=good, red=bad). It is a great size for a large room, covering a 200' space. The settings are easily adjusted with a light touch on the top of the tower and you can customize your preferences for specific needs. There are multiple options for cleaning, quiet clean, allergen, general clean, or you can set it to auto and have it adjust based on your environment. The quiet clean is almost silent it is so quiet! It barely makes a noise and you can only tell it's running if walking past and feeling the air movement. There is also a Turbo setting if you need to quickly clean the area of smells, etc. and can set the tower to run on a timer (2, 4 or 8 hours).The lights on the front and top of the tower can also be adjusted for brightness, which would be great to decrease distraction in a bedroom.
Setting up the tower was quick and easy as well. Once out of the box, there were two filters that simply rest inside the back cover. No tools are required and they were installed in under a minute. Replacing the filters would be a breeze. The tower also has a filter replacement notification, so you can easily tell when you need to purchase new ones.
Overall my experience with the Honeywell Power Insight True HEPA allergen remover tower has been great and I highly recommend it. It works so well, I am planning to get the smaller version for our bedroom!
