Battery life terrible

I’ve used this product about 10 times so far and the battery lasts 10-15 mins at most. I don’t know if it’s a defective battery or not, but certainly nowhere near the 60 min battery life as advertised

To extend your run time, try using it on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement. When used at high speed, approximately 10-15 minutes in this blower is an average run time for the supplied 2.5AH battery as this unit does draw quite a bit of power on high, however, the run time can be extended by using it at a lower speed. Alternatively, additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with Greenworks 80V batteries. The higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be. I bought this for small area blowing like garage and decks. It is quite heavy for my wife who uses it occasionally. It works as described but is heavy.

The weight added would vary depending on the battery that you purchase or using with this unit. The higher the ampere-hour (Ah) rating is on a battery, the more run time it has to offer but it will also carry more weight. Greenworks 2.0Ah or 2.5Ah battery does allow for better balance, and control. You will also feel much less fatigue with the lower ampere-hour (Ah) batteries due to the weight. Hope this tip helpful.

Only thing I can say is the batteries didn’t last as long as I would have thought , but then again I had to constantly use the turbo feature and I know that will drain the battery quicker. So with that being said I’m fully satisfied with my purchase!!! It did what I needed it to do and the job was effortless with this tool and I would recommend it for anyone that has a big job!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery is very difficult to put into the blower the catch doesn't lock most of the time which causes the battery to come loose and the blower to stop operating. I am planning on using it a few more times to make sure it's not something that I am doing although I am pretty sure it is the blower catch that holds the battery in that is faulty.
