I just bought this mower, and I have used it several times. I could not be happier with it! I have 2 5ah batteries, and after I mow, I have enough battery left to mow AGAIN! I am REALLY IMPRESSED! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
I bought the lawn mower because I have a bad shoulder and starting a gas mower was killing me. loved it so much I bought the Leaf Blower, the String Trimmer, the Chainsaw , and the Snow blower.
All the features I'm looking for: self propelled, long lasting battery, easy height adjustments, options to mulch or catch, quiet operation. No trips to the gas station in the middle of mowing, no oil changes. Also, this company also has great customer service.
It is smooth and quiet. It cuts without leaving a good presentation in the St Augustine grass.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello anonymous,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the overall cut. Grass sticking up in streaks or spots between each pass is a common problem, and one that often plaques owners of new mowers. Overlapping each row by a few more inches solves the problem. Unfamiliarity with a new mower cutting width and wheelbase contributes to streaking. Each time you prepare for a new pass, line up the mower using the slight indentation left in the grass by a mower’s wheels as it completed the previous pass. Allow the wheels to overlap part of that indention, which ensures you are cutting all the grass all the time. The same conditions might occur if you mow grass that is too wet. The grass blades stick together and prohibit a clean cut.

Everything about the mower, from the handle to the bag, to the wheels, is flimsy. It's a battery drain, and doesn't cut very well.

Hello anonymous Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with your lawnmower purchase. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Here are a few other tips to help get the most out of the battery run time and achieve a cleaner cut: 1) Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 of the total length at a time. 2) Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass and ensure that grass is dry. 3) Alternate mowing patterns each time you mow. As grass develops a grain based on your cutting direction it will lean towards the direction of your mowing path. Changing the pattern allows better vertical growth and helps to keep the cut neater. For best results keep the grass under 4" in length and walk at a slow but steady pace to allow the blades to cut efficiently. We hope these tips will help you with the issues you have encountered. However, if they do not, kindly contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com so that we can discuss these matters with you further. Please know that this lawnmower carries a 4-year warranty from the date of purchase and a 2-year warranty on the battery.
I bought this mower a month or so ago. It is the first electric mower I have ever used or purchased. Have mowed with it 8-10 times and have decided to return it. Just doesn’t have adequate power to do the job on a residential yard that gets mowed every 4-5 days. Leaves clumps of gras clippings all over whether mulching or using the bag. Won’t even blow off or pick up the dust and clippings that end up on the sidewalk.
The extended run battery allows me to mow the entire lawn without stopping. My hands hurt by the end of the mow though due to gripping and the vibration. I'm able to use the speed walk option on occasion which is nice to have. The underside of the deck is hard to clean in spots after mowing. I love having the option to store vertically to save space in the garage. The motor is slow to start and stop compared to our old B&D model and there is a high pitched whine that might bother some users. Changing the deck height while mowing is feasible. Overall, a great machine that does the job- just some tweeks would make it amazing.
