Why would anyone ever buy a gas mower? I had electric (plug-in) greenworks mowers and they were great but I wanted to ditch the cord. I was shocked when I started using the new mower. The battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. It’s quite and oh yeah it does a great job mowing. I liked it so much I got a 80v leaf blower to match. I Highly recommend this mower!
We've used this mower twice now, and so far, we love it. We have a bigger yard - it takes 1 1/2 hours to mow the whole thing. My main worry about purchasing an electric mower was that the battery wouldn't last through the entire job. I ordered an extra battery for that reason. However, one 80v battery lasted for 2 hours of mowing! Impressed! I like the weight of the mower, it keeps it grounded and mowing smoothly. I bought this electric mower almost as a rebellion against traditional gas mowers, which we have had bad luck with. As of now, I am feeling like I won this round! Time will tell how well the mower and batteries hold up, and I'm crossing my fingers, because if things go well, I'll be looking into their snow blower!
Very pleased with the mower performance. Just mowed it once and it worked great. Should gage the performance after few months but I have a positive feeling about this product. For some reason I received the this product in a box and is completely ripped and torn up. I'm a little worried if any parts got slammed hard to the ground during shipping !!
I bought this mower when I gave my old gas mower to my son who bought a house. This is the best and easiest mower ever! Plenty of power with the 60V. Have to slow the self propelled speed from the max because it is too fast. The 5Ah battery it came with is enough to do most of my yard unless the temperature is 100+, an issue if South Texas. Adding the 2 Ah battery that came with my attachment capable weed eater to the second port fixes that. I replaced all my other electric and gas powered lawn tools and the 60V is plenty of power. Have attachment for edger, pole saw, and hedge trimmer. Add the blower with an extra battery two. I am never going back to gas.
Powerful battery operated lawn mower. On par with gas powered. Love the fact that you can store it upright unlike gas powered.mowers. Saves a lot of space in my garage.
I had a new sod installed. I used this mower 3-4 times sofar. It is easy to use and assemble. It took me less than 10 minutes to unbox and start. I will focus on what I like simply because it is a good equipment. The 5.0 Ah battery was able to run for more than 9000sq ft of lawn which equals to about 45 minutes. Quality of cut was good. Most of it is made of steel. On the negative side, the self-propelled system do not respond immediately. It needs little bit of learning. That is why I did not put 4 starts because with time it will not be an issue at all. I am already in love with the greenworks line that I recently purchased a timmer.
Been looking for more gas-free options for my home power equipment and this mower is a perfect example of how to reduce your carbon footprint, reduce noise pollution, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and still get amazing performance at a reasonable price. Self propelled is excellent, mulching excellent and the battery power is consistent after many months of mowing.
I bought this about 3 months ago and was very pleased with how easy it was to use plus it was like using a gas operated lawnmower.i like that i don't have to buy gasoline it is very quiet but very sturdy with a metal deck i can get 2 mowings from one charge and no more messing around with gasoline
