I bought two blades that arrived in good shape, but are not really sharp. I don’t know if this is a manufacturer’s design to have them not sharp to the touch, but they are not as sharp as I was expecting. I own a grinder, so it is not a big deal to put an edge on them.

Thank you for your feedback. Greenworks blades are shipped with a protective coating applied to help prevent corrosion and protect the blade during storage and transportation. This coating can make the blade edge feel less sharp when first inspected out of the package, but it is designed to wear away during the first few minutes of use, allowing the sharpened steel edge underneath to perform as intended. Before installation, we recommend checking that the blade is the correct model for your mower and inspecting it for any shipping damage. When installing the blade, be sure it is secured properly and installed according to the instructions in the owner’s manual. Exceptionally well built, this however increases the weight and if you have hills or steep inclines expect runtime to be reduced. Also, hills and slopes will need to be dry to prevent slipping. Charging is simple and relatively fast, very reliable. The machine will cut through very tall and wet grass - again runtime will be reduced.
The claimed “Up to 4 Acres” - this must be for perfectly level, smooth, minimal trim level and minimum turns - like a football pitch. The website does not specify what conditions are required to achieve the claimed acreage - nor does it advertise a runtime.
In our experience, 2 acres can be done with upgraded batteries- replacing the 4 x 6 amp hour batteries with 4 x 8 amp hour batteries.
Overall very pleased, love the reduced noise level and no fumes. Would buy again.

Purchased in April 2026 and so far has been excellent doing the areas around my house. I am a 74 yo female and own a bit under 3 acres so this is augmenting my rider mower.
Definitely was easy to put together once delivered and have found it easy to handle even on the slight slopes and around my trees.
Battery life is decent .. though will probable purchase a second since i do need to recharge .... which is done in less than 45 min. to finish up.
Stores easily once folded ..... I don't uses the bag so use the side discharge for mulching ....I am consistent in cleaning the under carriage after each use ....
Will see the durability and longevity

The part does not function as designed. The issue is exacerbated by the fact the OEM part did not function as designed, either. The OEM part and the replacement part do not properly secure in the component designed to house the part.

Great mower

I bought this mower at end of April. I mow about 4 acres, I can do it all on one charge. This thing is great, only problem was I had never used a zero turn so that was a learning process. I'm getting pretty good now. My wife even mowed with it one day, she loved it. Seat is very comfortable. My only problem is speed, it is very quick and since I'm a newbie to zero turns I keep it on low speed setting.
