Bad assembly. Useless Manual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handle would not assemble because of extraneous part. NO USER MANUAL AVAILABLE ONLINE. But they do include a TINY paper booklet that requires an extra strong magnifying glass to almost read. WHY when you charge this much money can't you provide a manual that can be read? Or at least have one online?
Pros: Quiet

Not perfect, but still great

So this is probably the best battery-powered lawn mower one can buy today: it cuts through thick grass, would strongly recommend the 80V battery for larger yards. However, the unit is pretty heavy for a push mower so if you need to use it on slopes, it may be a challenge. The side piece that directs the mulch comes off very easily, which is also not good.

I thought it would use the same 80V battery as the chainsaw, edger, blower, weed eater and more but the battery for those items does not fit in this mower. I'm still having difficulty contacting support to deal with this and another issue with a bolt missing from the handle.

Hello John,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. - We are sorry to hear about this issue. Normally, our 80V battery models are compatible with our 80V tools, so it is impossible that they do not work together, unless the battery is physically unable to insert and connect due to a defect. Our team would be happy to look into your potential warranty options. Please consider contacting us a call at 1-888-909-6757 or by sending an email to info@greenworkstools.com for further assistance. All we ask that you please have access to the charger, battery and tool for troubleshooting purposes. We look forward to speaking to you.

I was skeptical of using electrical lawn lowers but after seeing many reviews I decided on this one and it had never disappointed. Makes lawn work more fun than a chore. I live in Texas Humidity, but I hardly sweat using this thing!

I haven't gotten to use it much since I bought it after the grass started to slow down for winter but so far it works great. Very powerful and quiet plus easy to use.

My husband & I are both retired but still mow our own yard, etc. We had previously bought a Green Works leaf blower, then a Green Works snowblower & liked both. Our old lawnmower was dying so we got a Green Works self-propelled mower. We LOVE IT! It is so easy to use, no gas/oil, etc. lightweight & easy to maneuver and does a great job of cutting the grass. Doing the lawn seems so much easier now!

Everything about the mower, from the handle to the bag, to the wheels, is flimsy. It's a battery drain, and doesn't cut very well.

Hello anonymous Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with your lawnmower purchase. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Here are a few other tips to help get the most out of the battery run time and achieve a cleaner cut: 1) Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 of the total length at a time. 2) Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass and ensure that grass is dry. 3) Alternate mowing patterns each time you mow. As grass develops a grain based on your cutting direction it will lean towards the direction of your mowing path. Changing the pattern allows better vertical growth and helps to keep the cut neater. For best results keep the grass under 4" in length and walk at a slow but steady pace to allow the blades to cut efficiently. We hope these tips will help you with the issues you have encountered. However, if they do not, kindly contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com so that we can discuss these matters with you further. Please know that this lawnmower carries a 4-year warranty from the date of purchase and a 2-year warranty on the battery.
