[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced my 47-year-old Lawn boy mower, and I find the build quality better and believe it would last just as long. I really like how quiet this mower is. It's easy to operate and has a long battery life that covers two mows on my lawn. I also like that I can use power drive with the deck blade off for transporting to distant areas from the house. Highly recommend!
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy with this mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this mower. Together our two 80V batteries allow for 30-40 minutes of mowing time before recharging. The mower cuts grass quickly and evenly. Our only complaints are the plastic levers on the handles seem a bit flimsy and the protective flap on the back sometimes makes it hard to pull the mower backwards. The wheels can lock up, but pushing forward and then pulling back again usually clears it up.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this. Even better tho. My kid loves this. I am so happy with the performance and weight. I was using a 36” belt drive walk behind that weighs 500lbs. Now my kid is old enough- I don’t need that mower anymore. We’ve got a 1/4 acre. The mower uses maybe 4AH front and back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this mower, as well as the weed eater, leaf blower, and drill and driver set I bought all at the same time. Plenty of battery life to get my half acre looking great, and plenty of power as well. Would buy these again in a heartbeat.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

Bad Quality and terrible blade and battery

This product did not even last a year. i ran it less than 15 times and from the very beginning the blade did not cut completely and required me to go over the lawn twice. In addition, the back wheels have locked up and prevented me from running it. Also, the battery now only lasts about 15 minutes before needing a recharge. Stay away from this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello psigos.

Thank you for your review. We are not sure what specifications you are referring to, but we regret to hear that you do not recommend this product. Many customers have had great success with this model and come to enjoy it in our product line up. We wish it could have provided the same experience for you.
With the included 4Ah battery, you can expect up to 45 minutes of mowing time, in ideal conditions. Runtimes can vary depending on a few factors, including but not limited to using self-propelled, self-propelled mowers do use more battery than standard push mowers as more power is being demanded from the battery to run the blades and the wheels. Grass texture and consistency. Cutting height and lawn size. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional batteries. If you have batteries from another 80V kit these 80V batteries would be compatible with your 80V SP mower, please note, the higher the Ah (amp hour) the more runtime a battery will provide. We recommend a 4Ah battery or higher for optimal runtime. The good news is you don’t have to wait until the batteries are completely depleted prior to charging them, lithium-ion batteries do not have a memory effect and charging them when they’re not fully depleted won’t do any damage. It takes about 30 minutes to charge the battery, and you’ll know when it’s ready because the light on the charger will turn from red to green.
If you don’t let the grass, get too high, you’ll be in good shape as far as getting an even cut. However, if you’ve let the grass get long, you’ll likely need to make a few passes for it to look even. One of the ways it’s able to provide a consistent cut is its sensory technology. This technology senses how tough or high the grass is and adjusts the power output accordingly. So, if you’re going over a flat area with low grass, it won’t put out as much in the way of RPMs, and if it hits a tougher spot, it ramps up the power to keep up.
We would like to address your concerns with the back wheels. The self-propelled feature is not usable in reverse. They are designed to lock when pulled back to prevent damage to the drive belt. If you are using the self-propelled feature, the mower will attempt to move forward and will be difficult to move backwards. You would have to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever. We hope this information provides a better overall user experience.
