I have had this mower for a month and a half so far and used it to mow my .35 acre lot 4 times so far. With both batteries fully charged, I have never been able to completely finish mowing my yard. The batteries are drained before I can finish. I need the batteries to last 4-5 more mins but they are drained before I can finish. I attempted to recharge the first battery to be drained while using the second battery. The drained battery sat on the charger for 15 mins but the red light on the charger apparently stayed on the entire time so it never gets charged. That may be a protective mechanism for the batteries but it means I will need a third battery in order to mow my lawn without taking a significantly long break from mowing. I also have tried rationing the use of self propelled but I still can finish mowing my lawn with the two 2.5ah batteries. Very glad I have not surrendered my gas powered mower yet.

Hello M_D_In_NC,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this product. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the battery and charge so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information
I bought this around last year Christmas Holiday (2021) from Costco and started to use it this March (2022). This week (May 23) was trying to use it and it stopped working. The problem is after starting the Mower for 3~5 second then the motor stopped working(like the power was cut off). Try to restart, then it gave the beep sound just like when there is too many grass clippings attach to the deck or blade. However, the Mower did not have grass clippings attached to deck or blade. Called the HelpLine: 1-(888)-909-6757. Wait for 1 hour still no representative is available.

Hello TingF,
We are sorry that you are having an issue with one of our products! With the spring season here, so is our busiest time of year which unfortunately means increased wait times. We are happy to see that you have spoken with one of our customer service team members and this issue has been resolved.
It lives up to the company’s claims. Strong enough for the irregular terrain of my 3/4 of an acre lot adorned with a half doze oak tree and a few maples. Does a good job of mulching good accumulations of leaves. The battery lasted long enough to complete the biggest area in front which is all I needed, the recharge seemed faster than an hour. Met my needs and expectations. Thank you
I Live on the coast of North Carolina and I’ve had this 80v 21” pro mower going on three years now has great features but a few drawbacks that I would mention we have mostly Bermuda and centipede grass here on lawns that are very thick. The only two issues I have is that when you raise or lower the mower deck it’s not parallel to the ground which causes the front blade guard to dig into the grass. The other issue is that the drive wheels are very lacking on tread and tend to have very low traction in the thick grass my suggestion would be to redesign the tire with a much more aggressive tread. Other that that it is a great mower that preforms very well.
Does a great job and stores very compact. Quiet and battery last long enough to do the job needed. Battery charge time is quick. Lite weight and easy to push
This is my 2nd mower as there was an issue w/ the motor before the warranty expired and Greenworks stood behind their product and replaced it. I’ve removed and sharped the mulch blade a couple of times and it works great; no bag, no oil or gas, now exhaust.
