[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had my new 80v 25" mower for 24 hours but so far I am impressed. Easy to unpack, assemble and get mowing. The deck is so light and easy to handle. Won't be trenching my yard if I have to mow when it is damp. The electric motor is very quiet. I was worried about the speed of the self-propel system after owning a big gas powered mower with variable speed. Turns out I was worried for nothing because when I set the self-propel to the fastest setting and the thing took off! Battery charging was really fast. Nice job Greenworks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had y PRO 80V 21" Brushless Self-propelled Mower for over a year now and it is still running strong! I put it through heck on my 1/2 acre property, hilly, rough terrain in places, and it never hesitates. Solid purchase, yay me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great mower. It self-propells so you only need to walk behind and steer it. The propell feature has speed control so you can decide to make it go faster or slower. It also has height adjustment when moving the grass. The light helps to mow when it gets dark.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mower is much lighter than my previous gas mower. I like how the handle folds and takes up less floor space when stored upright. The mower starts easily with a push of a button while holding a lever...no more having to yank a cord to start up a gas mower! The self-propel feature is great though there is a slight delay when you activate it versus when the rear wheels actually start spinning. There is enough battery power to last mowing my front lawn and back yard so I'm happy about that. The battery level indicators are clear and the battery charges quickly. The charger's built in fan is a bit noisy, but at least it gets the job done quickly. My biggest complaint about the mower is that the rear wheels tend to lock up after you use the self propel feature. You need to give the mower a second or two then jiggle the mower left/right a bit before you can pull the mower backwards. If this lock up issue wasn't present, I'd easily give the mower a 5 star rating. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product despite the flaws I mentioned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello PlutoE.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for choosing Greenworks for you lawn care needs! We always appreciate customer feedback. The self-propelled feature is not usable in reverse. They are designed to lock when pulled back to prevent damage to the drive belt. If you are using the self-propelled feature, the mower will attempt to move forward and will be difficult to move backwards. You would have to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have Makita everything. I planned on always continuing to buy Makita products so that I would have an inventory to use products with one battery and one battery charger. At some point, they just didn't have what I needed or the power I needed. I ended up buying a green Work push mower. Best battery mower I've ever had. I've also bought other products now. I am just gonna slowly transition to green Works without getting rid of my Makita. But I don't think I'll be buying any new Makita products.
