We live in a court, and I have always been able to cut the lawn with one 4.0 amp battery, no problem. I am still using it and now have the backpack blower, trimmers, etc. I decided to buy a new lawnmower for our son who had just bought a new house. This new model is amazing. I love the headlight too! I highly recommend that if you are in the market for your first electric lawnmower, that you would consider Greenworks. I guarantee, you won't be sorry.

Better than gas mower

The motor revs up automatically when you encounter thicker or higher grass (doesn’t both down like other mowers). Makes mowing quick and easy with no gas and oil checks.

Only thing batter life can be better or we need to a secondary batter if you are planning to work continuedly for few hrs on your lawn. I usually take a break after 45 mins so it is working out ok so far for me.
