Cheap plastic cover guard for trimmer.

The mower and blower work great. However the 13 inch string trimmer destroyed itself after the first use. The sting cutting blade and protection cover snapped in half after installing new line slightly longer than needed. This was apparently too much for the cheap plastic cover and it was sent flying across my garage. I cannot understand why they chose to use plastic guard instead of metal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased only two weeks ago and has been a nice addition to my garage. Mower is much lighter than my old gas mower and is much easier to push and maneuver. Push button start is great and no need for maintenance over the winter anymore. The intelligent cut is nice when I hit thicker grass since the power will kick up to make the cut. I have a .5acre lot and use the mower to do the edges along the fence and the hard to reach areas where the Deere can't go. More than enough battery to do what I need. I haven't used the bagging or leaf functions yet but I'm sure they will do just fine, the mulching does a great job with my yard.
Pros: Easy to Use, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Power & Performance: The 80V system delivers gas-like power. It handles tall, thick grass without bogging down—even after a week of growth. It’s surprisingly aggressive for a battery mower.
🔋 Long Battery Life: With the 5.0Ah battery, I consistently get 45–60 minutes of runtime, which is enough to cut my 1/3-acre lawn on a single charge. If you have more ground to cover, consider picking up a second battery.
🧰 4-in-1 Versatility: It offers mulching, bagging, side discharge, and even a rear discharge plug. Mulching works well, and the rear bag is easy to remove and reattach. This level of versatility is rare in electric models.
🔇 Quiet Operation: As expected, it’s much quieter than a gas mower. You can hold a conversation while mowing, and your neighbors will thank you.
🛠️ Low Maintenance: No gas, oil changes, spark plugs, or pull starts. Just pop in the battery and push the button. Cleaning is easy too, thanks to the open underside and plastic deck.
📏 Height Adjustments: The single-lever height adjustment is smooth and intuitive, with 7 levels ranging from 1-3/8" to 3-3/4". It’s suitable for different grass types and lawn conditions.
⚠️ Cons: ⏳ Charge Time: The 5.0Ah battery takes about 90–120 minutes to fully charge. Not a huge issue unless you're trying to mow again soon after finishing.
🏋️ Slightly Heavy for a Push Mower: At over 60 lbs with the battery, it’s heavier than other electric push models. Still, it glides well thanks to the oversized rear wheels.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fact that I don’t need gas and oil anymore. Plus the battery life is just perfect for my .25 acre yard
Have been using for a month and definitely feel I have been greenwashed. I can't mow for more than 20 mins without the battery dying (short grass too). The mower constantly puts itself into "turbo" mode which further drains the battery and even though I turn it off to go out of "turbo" mode and then back on, it goes back in another few seconds. Charging the battery takes at least 1.5 hours, but that's only after the battery has cooled since it's not, because I don't mow the lawn in the winter.... and then when it's done charging and I hit the charge indicator on the battery, it shows 4 lights and then immediately drops to 3 right out of the charger. I am all for paying a little more for a sustainable solution, but don't lie about your products abilities.

Hello greenwashed99. We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the mower's protection features. The mower likely enters "turbo" mode automatically due to an overcurrent protection system that kicks in when the battery is being heavily stressed, possibly by thick grass or uneven terrain. This is a safety mechanism to prevent damage to the battery and motor. To address this, we recommend exploring a few troubleshooting steps to potentially improve your battery's performance. 1. Check Grass and Terrain. Make sure you are not mowing through excessively thick or long grass, or areas with a lot of debris. Try adjusting the cutting height or moving through areas in shorter passes if possible. 2. Self-Propelled Engagement. If you are using the self-propelled feature, try engaging it more gradually and with a lighter touch. Excessive strain on the self-propelled mechanism can also trigger the overcurrent protection. 3. Battery Condition. Ensure your batteries are fully charged and in good condition. Worn batteries may struggle to provide the necessary power, leading to more frequent activation of the overcurrent protection. Yes, the batteries will require time to cool before charging. The amount of time that the battery requires to cool will vary depending on how much they have heated up while in use. The outdoor temperature can affect battery run time. If the unit is used in extreme heat, this causes the battery to overheat and deplete. We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause. If you have tried these steps and the problem persists, we recommend contacting our customer support team for assistance with properly submitting a warranty claim. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, accessible by clicking “Chat with an Expert” in the bottom corner of your screen, Chat with a Live Agent I Monday - Friday: 9:30am – 5pm EST or by calling 1-888-909-6757 between 9AM and 7PM EST, M-F.
