Can't insert tools

I followed the instructions and watched the available videos, but the clamping plate doesn't move.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear about this issue. Please make sure that the clamping plate is placed well into the holder of the machine, otherwise you cannot spin the quick release lever. If this does not fix the issue, please contact Greenworks Customer Experience Agent at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) and they will be happy to assist with the warranty claims process.

It is what it is… a saw

Can’t say too much about a reciprocating saw, except when it doesn’t do what it is supposed to do. That is not the case here, easy blade swap, guard removal to go against safety warnings and most importantly it’s bright enough you won’t lose it when the bulb burns out in the wood shed.
Good saw, nice cuts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a little late submitting the review because of being unable to use until I got a battery for it. That's a huge negative and should come with one. I never understood why so many brands sell tools that aren't ready to use right out of the box. Well now that I have one I love it. I'm not a tool person but have been wanting this saw for a long time to use on crafts. It is do easy and safe to use. Cuts a straight line easily for a beginner like me. love love love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw came without a charger or a battery..however it did come with a blade which is useless without a charger or battery. I'm.very unhappy. It doesn't work and was not charged..its not functionable at all.
