These are the only drills you need. Every job can be accomplished with these two drills. Comfortable and easy to handle. Mask sure and order the Greenworks drill bit set so you'll have everything you need!

Good Drill/Driver Set That is Almost Great

Disclaimer: I was given the drill/driver set by Greenworks to review and keep for free after.
The drill/driver set is a good set that I have used for a variety of projects from simple incidental repairs to building a new garden gate. The drill had no trouble powering through larger diameter holes (3/8" was the largest bit I used) through pressure treated 2x4s. The driver had no issues driving 4" lg deck screws through pressure treated lumber either.
I like that the package comes with two 2ah batteries (instead of the 1.5s that other brands give you) and a charger, and that the included drill/driver bits are interchangeable between the two. The carry bag easily fits all of the contents without any issues closing the bag. I like the inclusion of the light on each device, that was a nice to have on tools at this price point. The weight is very light, but they do not feel cheap.
I only have two issues that prevent me from giving them a 5 star rating. First, there is no bit holder (either magnetic or slot) on either device. I like the included bits, but I've already lost one of them since I had no on-device storage location. The second is the chuck on the driver is a little finicky. It was easy to get out most of my driver bits (the ones that came with it, and others I have), but there were a few (especially the long shank bits) that I have that for some reason the chuck didn't want to lock onto or let go without some extra effort. They work fine in my other drivers, so it is probably the tolerances on this one are tighter.
Overall this will make an excellent starter kit for any homeowner. The light weight and larger starting battery sizes means that you can comfortably use them for hours on end before swapping a battery, and while it is inconvenient not having a bit holder, it is not a deal breaker.

Installed my whole fence

Used both the drill and driver to install 300 linear feet of privacy fence. Both tools worked flawlessly and the batteries went all day. I also like how short the head of the driver is. It makes it easy to get into tight spaces to use

Great Drill / Impact combo. The carrying case make it that more better! fits behind the seat of my truck with no issues in loosing parts or the charger in the black hole. Love the simplified charger as well. This is now my favorite combo pack!! Good job Green Works
