This case fits the saw perfectly and even has enough room to carry a pint of bar oil. Provides excellent protection for the saw in storage or transit and is easy to carry.
Easy to use, maintain and ready to go at a moments notice. If you use a gas powered saw this will be very familiar except for the spark plug, gas/oil mixture and noise. Only recommendation is if you have a lot to cut keep a second battery on charge so you avoid any downtime.
The pole saw is awesome, works great! However, there is no place on the website or other sites showing what type of chain we need for replacement? I have purchased 3 different 10” chains & non of them fit properly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello there,
GreenWorks appreciates your positive review. The chain on this pole saw is an Oregon brand chain. Here are the specs:
Oregon 40DL 3/8 low profile 1.58 Gauge
Oregon chains are stocked in many home improvement and hardware stores. If you wish to avoid the hassle of locating the chain yourself, please contact GreenWorks part team directly at 1-888-909-6757 and we will be happy to help you place an order.
WE have three products that use the 80v battery and I love them all. We have had electric and gas and this is so easy. The extension pole is very long and heavy, so its a little awkard. I am a 5' 4 48 year old female and I can use it with the support shoulder strap but I do tire out using it. my friend who had never use any power tool before used it and loved it so much she put it on her christmas list.
Anyone who buys this chainsaw needs to buy two batteries. The standard 2 Ah battery for cutting the tree down and limbing and then the 4 Ah for cutting up your saw logs. They work in perfect combination because the 4Ah is too heavy for cutting the tree down and limbing purposes. The 2 Ah doesn't have the endurance for cutting all of the logs you want to split for firewood like the 4 Ah does. The heavier weight of the 4 Ah is not a big deal for cutting all of the logs because the saw is resting on the tree laying down. So they are a perfect combination. You can also cut some logs with the 2 Ah. A good size tree maybe 4 logs. So with the 4 Ah you can add another 8 logs for a total of 12. By that time your tired anyway. Load them up and take them to the log splitter, put the batteries back on charge and have a drink. I also recommend that you get the Oregon Power Sharp chainsaw chains with the stone which allows you to sharpen the chain in the woods in about 30 seconds. Greenworks should add this high tech option to their line as another environmental saver. Remember that with an 18" bar you can cut a 36" tree.
I bought this chainsaw several weeks ago and it has been great! Uses the same battery as my other GreenWorks tools through a 10" diameter log with ease. Love the fact that I don't have to deal with gas and oil anymore (except chain oil). So far the cutting will last past the time it takes to charge my second battery.
