Best Cordless chainsaw on the market

My husband insisted he didn't want me to buy this chainsaw for him and was fine borrowing our neighbors gas one. That was until I ignored him and bought it for him. Once he started using it he was a kid with a new toy and told anyone that would listen how amazing this chainsaw truly is. Now we have several neighbors hoping their gas chainsaw breaks so they can purchase this one.

Buy a handsaw instead

I bought this saw last year for light duty work around the yard - cutting branches off trees and stuff that should well be within range of a light duty battery operated saw. As a retired fireman, I was used to gas powered units but also knew their capabilities. This unit was useless, wouldn't cut thru a 1" branch, instead would just burn the hell out of it. And that was brand new out of the box. Save your money, buy a big boy chainsaw, or just do what I did, put it in the shed, forget about it, and grab a handsaw. Should have returned it right away....but got caught up in life.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with this product. Make sure that the blade is sharp, clean and free of pitch. A dull blade will make it hard to cut and the slower the feed rate of the saw, the more friction against the wood and the greater the likelihood of marks. Before putting a saw away after cutting particularly after cutting messy timber it should always be cleaned, side plate off and cleaned underneath, chain bar cleaned and chain sharpened.
