I had a gas chainsaw and a corded electric and was able to get rid of both with this unit. Very impressive power for a battery powered tool. No problems at all cutting through a 20' diameter ash tree. Love the fact that I don't have to deal with gas mix or lugging around a cord anymore. Also storing it inside my basement I eliminate the gas smell that comes with the gas powered one. All in all I highly recommend it.
I recently bought this saw as a replacement for an older gas saw. I’m really enjoying using this tool-plenty of power, easy to use. Battery chargers pretty quickly. Overall, glad I made the decision to buy this tool!
Outstanding product. Cuts down thick branches without messy cord or gas. Plenty of power and not heavy. Absolutely love it, will be upgrading all gas to professional v80 greenwork products.
We bought this chainsaw for the convenience!! It has outdone itself. Being a woman I love how easy it is to handle yet still powerful! Greenworks all the way!!!
We have had our Pro 80V chain saw for 3 years and love it. We had a problem with it and contacted tech support and they resolved the problem immediately. FYI, I had to get a battery operated saw because I didn't have the OMMPH to start our gas chain saws. I needed to use the saw after my husband was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. We have a 400+ driveway lined with oak trees and if a limb comes down I have to be able to remove it. With his implanted heart monitor he isn't supposed to use power equipment so I have done the cutting - by the way I am 84 year old woman and have no difficulty operating the saw. I LOVE IT!!!!!
This saw works great, just as good as a gas powered saw; maybe better. It is quiet (no need for ear plugs and you can easily communicate in a talking voice with helpers) and light. Very efficient; only use power when you need it. No loud saw sitting on idle while you position for your next cut. Battery lasts long. I cleared brush for 2 hours and I’m ready for a break before the battery is empty. Bar chain oil usage seems on par with a typical saw. Probably could use two full batteries before the oil is empty.
