Saw works great, but leaks bar oil.

I've had the saw for a couple weeks and am satisfied overall. It cuts great, and is relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. One complaint is that it sprays oil all over when in use and leaked bar oil all over my brand new garage floor as well as the foam handles when stored upright by the molded plastic storage hook. I recommend draining the oil after use and putting a piece of cardboard under it to catch the leaks.

This is my first electric chainsaw. I’m really happy with it. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it did the job really well, I cut down a decent size tree with it and chopped it all up. One thing I like about this one over my past 2 gas ones is that it is much easier to adjust the blade tension. Great product, real happy with it!

I bought this two months ago. It's incredible! I trimmed tree branches up to a full 10" and it cuts them so fast and efficient. The battery lasted almost 2 hours. I highly recommend it. My next purchase will be a 80 volt string trimmer as I am always replacing carburator on my weed eaters every two years. Thank you Greenworks for a quality product.

chain tensioner fails

I was super happy, at first. Amazing power, quick charges.
Then the chain tensioner wore out.
It can't be repaired--the entire chainsaw had to be replaced. It took 7 months to get the warranty replacement. The tensioner on the warranty replacement has also failed.
Looking for other battery-powered chainsaws now.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with the chain not staying on. Chainsaw chains can come off due to multiple reasons such as worn-down bars, worn-down sprockets, and wrongly set chain tension. Please check the chain tension and condition of all parts prior to use. If anything is worn or damaged, replace parts before using them again.
Replace the bar if:
• the groove is not fit with the height of the drive links (which must never touch the bottom).
• the inside of the guide bar is worn and makes the chain lean to one side.

Great 20" 80 volt pole saw

I live on a large property with 200 year okd oak trees in need of trimming. This monster makes short work of oak, which surprised me as it us a very hard wood and the limbs in need of grooming are not small. I am very happy with my purchase.
