Ease of use for a mid 50's small framed woman

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read reviews and watched numerous tutorial videos for weeks on the different top rated electric chainsaws before deciding on this brand. At the age of being in my mid 50's I was getting to the point where I no longer had the wrist/arm/shoulder strength to pull start my husbands 18" chainsaw whenever I needed it. My mid 70's aged neighbor said she had one of these electric chainsaws for the exact reason I was about to get one for myself. I knew I wanted the biggest, longest lasting battery I could find. I did not want to have to be in the middle of a tree clearing project and then have to wait for the battery to charge after only a few minutes of cutting. This battery is a little heavy but is worth the money. About the time this battery life is drained, Soooo I am I. I need the hour rest for the battery to charge up. I probably did not need the 18", I could have been just fine with a 16". But overall, completely pleased with the chainsaws performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the chainsaw it’s holding up to all the tree cutting I’ve done with it so far battery may have gone a lil faster then I thought it should but really think it just got hot and I made sure to buy an extra to be able to keep going so by the time one battery is done the next is ready again. I wish it was a lil lighter but think if it were it may compromise how well it should hold up against heavy use and thats just being picky on a pretty good battery chainsaw. I kept with the smaller capacity battery in consideration of the extra weight and expense of the bigger batteries again by the time the one is done the other is full charged and ready so no downtime. Very user friendly as well and the on board chainsaw tool is great I don’t have to lose and look for before adjustments. Very happy with purchase!

A worthwhile step into electric chainsaws

I was quite pleased with its first performance on a very fresh, wet white oak, and foresee plenty of use in the future. Anoter great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband gifted me the Greenworks 16" chainsaw for Christmas- yes, I asked for it after not being able to start my husbands gas chainsaw to cut a tree that fell across the drive after he had left for work. I did not want to be stuck like that again. I love how easy it is to use and after watching a video, I can change out the bar and chain easily. It has definitely been used a lot on our large wooded property. Highly recommend.

I love Greenworks tools

I am very impressed with the power and ease with which it performs with cutting limbs as well as thick logs. I would and have recommended this tool to many others who have tired of mixing fuel and jerking a starter cord.
