16” 80v chainsaw

I bought this within the last month. I had many small trees and broken branches that needed cleaned up. I took the saw out after prepping it (bar chain oil addition, inspection). I cut up hardwoods with amazing ease. I was a bit concerned with the provided life of the 2.5 ah battery, so I bought a 5.0 ah battery as backup. But the 2.5 ah battery performed very well. I probably didn’t need to buy the backup battery as I’ve only used gas powered chain saws in the past so I was a little wary of the stamina. At this point I’m fully content with the Greenworks 80 v 16” chainsaw assembly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Chainsaws pretty good they're out of stock of the battery which makes no sense when you only have the tool luckily I have a lawn mower that I was able to use that battery

I have had my share of Gas powered chainsaws. I live up North and during winter most summer gas powered tools get winterized and then then stored away. Next Spring it becomes a 1 or 2 day event trying to get everything to start running and stay running.
Bought the 80V Electric Chainsaw. Upgraded Chain to something more aggressive. Then started to remove 13 - 30 to 40 foot Boxelder or green ash trees from the property. The Electric Chainsaw had no issue with downing and then cutting up the firewood form the trees. Purchased another Battery to have one charging while one was working. Love how quiet the unit is and not having to fight to pull a rip-cord to get the thing started. Just press button and go.
I have started to switch out my terrible gas powered items for whatever 80V tool is available. See other reviews

Ease of adjusting chain tension: Instant on-Instant torque!

This is the third 80V Greenworks appliance I have purchased and I am extremely happy with all three butt the 16" Chainsaw is now my favorite as it made short work of a number of felled tress after some recent windstorm events! Quiet and no 2 cycle fumes and gas mixing. Instant on and immediate cutting torque! Easily handled some 16" diameter logs (locust & maple).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this saw last week. The attached picture shows what this tool can do with 1 charge on the 80 volt 2ah battery can do. Light weight and plenty of power

Used it today to cut branches. Cuts fast and smoothly with ease. The weight with an 80V battery is very manageable, doesn’t tier your arms and a fairly low noise level. I got a strong 45 minutes of cutting. No more hank and crank. Go Greenworks...

I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT A YEAR AGO NOW AND THIS SAW IS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO USE EASY TO SHARPEN I NEED TO PURCHASE A NEW CHAIN TO HAVE AS A BACKUP BUT IT WORKS GREAT!
