I like the power , the quick start , stop operation . I like the ease of the battery power , no messing with two cycle engine . But after a half hour of operation the chain pops off the bar from cutting branches, even if the correct tension is on the chain !! I've cut down an estimated 200 trees every year for the past 20 years, so I'm experienced at operating a chainsaw , but keeping the chain on the bar is very difficult with this saw !!

Hello,
Thank you for your honest review! We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with the chain not staying on. Its important to remember that new chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar, and saw. Please ensure that when you remove the side cover the following parts are there and in order: sprocket (chain wheel), chain wheel washer, and finally the c-clip/retaining ring. These parts are imperative when it comes to keeping the chain on. If you notice any of these parts missing or you are still experiencing issues, please contact our helpline at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). We would be happy to look into this!
I was thinking of buying a gas operated chain saw but after further consideration bought this saw for a number of reasons. 1 it was battery powered, 2 it was quite, 3 it had an extension that allowed me to reach out if reach branches, and 4 it was provided me the most powerful saw all wrapped into these attributes. It so easy and safe to use. A great purchase that paid for itself because hiring a contractor would have cost the equivalent of the saw.
The product description includes the following: "8' extension pole for a maximum reach of 11 feet." However, the "extension" pole IS NOT an extension pole, it is a fixed length pole. The "maximum reach of 11 feet" implies there is a shorter (minimum) reach -- there is not! There is no way to remove any section of this pole (the wiring runs through all 3 pieces). Really misleading!!! This is an 11 foot pole. Period.

Hello LLAN,
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are sorry to hear that you felt the description misleading. The extension poles only have a fixed length and are not adjustable. While the handle on this model cannot be shortened, we would like to refer you to our 40V model, 20672, or our 60V model, 1405602 as they have a removable middle extension. See links below.

Pole saw works great to clean up dead branches on the edge our my property. I purchased it because I needed to create a fire break and trim up to 10' vertically. This Pole Saw fits the job perfectly.
I'm 5' 8" and weigh about 175lbs. This is balanced well and I've even taken it on a ladder. I can't hold it steady enough for undercuts, but the overcut works flawlessly. I highly recommend this for any customer who has wooded areas and wants to cut branches from a distance.
I used to cut fown some massive limbs on a large tree. It cut thru them like butter . I have used a gasoline chain saw before. This chainsaw is lighter has less vibration and no fumes. I also Iike it that I didn't have to pull a cord over and over to start it .
