[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw about 3 days ago and I am super happy with its performance. It came with the 2 ah battery so it’s a way to get started. But I definitely need to buy a 4 or 5 ah battery. I just didn’t realize how expensive they are. The sad part is the battery prices are rediculous and I’ve been tempted to return the saw due to I can’t afford another battery to test its full capabilities. I love green works quality and products. I need to find the batteries on sale somewhere if that ever happens so if anyone knows where to buy them for cheap would be a great help. Thank you. This is going to be my camping saw so I’m sure it will hold up it’s very good quality. Thank you. Matt from Colorado

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great chainsaw, Very versatile, We have purchased three over the years, keeping the sprocket on the end of the bar is a must, a spray can helps, I think where it doesn't spend a lot of time idling it needs a touch more lubricant, but we have processed 29 cord of wood from tree to stove. And we love ours!

Problem at the second use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the saw just several days ago. Purchased this brand because I have the batteries from a self propelled mower. Te saw worked fine the first use, about an hour of cutting. Next day the saw would not start! Te batteries, tried both, are full charged. The saw is just dead! I am checking the warranted for return instructions to Greenworks.com.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

start. First, ensure the battery is charged and properly inserted. Place battery into the charger and allow charging up to 30 minutes (2Ah) or 1 hour (4Ah). What a machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the 16”, 18” and now the 20” and love them all but this one is something else. Really stepped up to help me cut up some of my bigger trees. I would put it against any similarly priced gas chainsaw and I have no doubt it would be the better choice.
