I’m currently using the HP OmniBook X Flip 16 AI PC for my Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, and it has been a great fit for my academic and technical work. I regularly use it for research, academic writing, Python coding, data analysis, AI/ML projects, and working with multiple applications at the same time, and the performance has been smooth and responsive.
The large 16-inch display is especially helpful when I’m reading research papers while coding or analyzing data side by side. Setup was straightforward, and I also appreciate the flexibility of the convertible design for reading and studying. Overall, great laptop & it's huge! I primarily use it for school/ online classes and the stylus/flip 2 tablet features are top notch when it comes to any school work. The keyboard is a slight adjustment to what i had been used to, it's cramped space and power is where delete normally would be which is honestly the hardest adjustment. The speakers are sub par, my old 2019 model hp produced better sound than this one does. I've had no issues with the fans kicking all the time and I've had it running for hours on a single charge.. keep in mind, I do not do any gaming with it at all.
