Cool watch with tons of cool features, but the battery is horrible. I've had a galaxy gear s2, an s3 frontier, and a watch 5, and ALL the older batteries outperformed the watch 7 battery duration.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey there! We really appreciate your honest feedback. Your input is crucial as we strive to make improvements. We noticed that you contacted us about the Watch7. The Watch7 offers improved Heart Rate Tracking with Galaxy AI, which filters out your body's movements for a more accurate reading, allowing you to get the most out of your workouts. If your watch's battery is draining quickly, we recommend making sure that your watch is up to date with the latest available software. Prior to starting the update process, ensure that your watch has a good battery charge; you may not be able to update without at least a 30% charge. To update the software on your connected phone, go to and open the Galaxy Wearable app. Tap Watch settings, then tap Watch software update. If your watch displays a Home tab, swipe to and tap Watch software update or Band software update, and then tap Download and install. If this continues to be your experience, please reach out to us at Samsung Support so that we can further investigate what could be causing this. -Kelvin

Terrible battery life

I bought this about a month ago, and wish I could trade it in. I highly regret trading in my S5 watch. I want to trade in the S7 for cash towards the ultra, but have not found away because I dislike this watch so much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for reaching out! Your feedback is greatly appreciated as we continue to make improvements. We see that you reached out to let us know about the Watch7. It looks like you're reaching out regarding the battery life of your watch. If you are experiencing a shortened battery life, we recommend ensuring your watch is up to date with the latest software version. From your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app. Depending on your watch, you will either tap Watch settings or tap SETTINGS tab. Then, tap About watch, and then tap Update watch software. Or, tap About Gear, and then tap Update Gear software. If this persists after updating, please reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Classy, Useful, Enjoyable, and High Quality

So far, I'm in love. It looks great, the screen is incredible, the software experience is better than that of the Pixel Watch 2 I owned before this, and the health tracking features are great. The fact that it uses standard bands instead of some weird proprietary method is such a plus as a watch enthusiast. And the battery life is awesome too, better than the Pixel Watch 2. I put it on around 7:30 AM and take it off around 11-12 PM daily, and despite Always On Display, using it for health tracking, texting, internet searches, notifications, and even calls, I usually have 40%+ battery left. Meaning just a brief charge at some point would make this thing last 2 days Overall I love this thing so far, I would 100% recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Faster, Smoother and Elegant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch 7 is pretty awesome. It’s got a slick design, and the display is super sharp but what really sets it apart is how smooth and fast the UI and software are now from previous versions. Galaxy AI is super handy too—it learns your routines, suggests workouts, keeps track of your health, and helps organize your day effortlessly. Plus, the battery lasts longer, which is always a win. Overall, it’s not just a watch; it’s like having a personal assistant on your wrist.

No classsic??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my wife the new galaxy watch 7 as she had the very last fit** they released and didn't want to go to the G man as she has a Flip 5. She was very skeptical because of how much she loved the fitness ecosystem and users but not necessarily the hardware. She has seen my galaxy watch 6 classic and really seemed to like it. So when her current fitness smartwatch stopped working i got her the watch 7. Now she loves the fit and finish and look and all of that flashing, but she still doesn't enjoy the fitness experience as much as she has on past devices. But now that she has had it for a little while and has had time to really dive deep into the watch she loves it! Her only complaint was that she doesn't like the digital rotating bezels as much as my physical rotating bezel. So moral, great watch, definitely compared to the competition, just bring back the physical rotating bezel for ever!

Love Samsung devices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved from a fitbit Sense 2 which I really enjoyed, but after a recent medical issue I need some of the advanced monitoring and accuracies that this watch provides. I like the health app. I do wish it had an actual heart rate graph verse a generalized bar of rates. It seems to sync well with MyFitnessPal so that is a big plus.

Battery is an issue

I got Galaxy watch 7 replacing my Galaxy watch 4. Functionality is definitely better but the battery life not good. It almost takes twice the time to charge compared to my previous model and the battery dies a lot faster.
