I was after fall protection. I discovered you need to push the stem 5 times to call for help. Not what I wanted. What if you are unconscious. I returned. It was to complicated.

The Watch7 features a hard fall detection function that will send out an SOS if it detects a serious fall, notifying your emergency contacts immediately if you need assistance. However, the fall detection feature is not enabled by default, so you must turn it on manually using the Galaxy Wearable app while ensuring your watch is connected. To enable it, open the app, tap on "Watch settings," select "Safety and emergency," and toggle the switch next to "Hard fall detection." If you don’t have any emergency contacts added, you’ll need to do that for the feature to work properly. You can also customize what happens when a fall is detected by selecting "Hard fall detection" in the settings, including the option to share your location with emergency contacts and make an emergency call if needed. I've upgraded from watch 4 to 7.. Battery life improved a lot. More Responsiveness (faster CPU) and screen size bigger maintaining its compact form factor (40mm). Happy customer.

I bought this a few weeks ago and while I have experienced 2 weird results, the majority of the results from this watch are amazing!!
1. I charged to only 98% one day and was woken in middle of night to turn on power saving because watch was at 5%. This has only happened once. Normally I only charge while showering after workout and have no problem getting well over 24 hours out of the battery.
2. During a workout I think I had the watch too tight and while walking where hr should be atleast 120, registered at 107 and going down. Stopped workout, dried watch and put on a little looser, and it's worked right ever since.

These items are why 4 instead of 5. When it works correctly (99% of time) this watch is GREAT!! I love the energy score and work daily to try and bring it up! There are too many features to mention. I am trying to talk my mom into one, but she likes the more feminine, dainty watches.

Texting problem

I can only send texts when it wants me to, if I reset the watch then I can send 2 or 3 text on it before it stops letting me, then it will randomly let me send 1 or 2 text again when it feels like it. This only happens when I try and reply to a message.

The Suggested Replies feature, powered by Galaxy AI, analyzes your text conversations and offers simple suggestions for how to respond. If your Samsung smartwatch (LTE) is having mobile data difficulties, is unable to answer calls, receive texts, or failing to display your phone number in the Settings menu, first ensure that it is connected to your phone via Bluetooth through the Galaxy Wearable app, as you will not receive incoming calls if connected only via Wi-Fi. If the connection seems fine, you may need to unpair and then re-pair your watch.
