Misrepresented weight

I bought this laptop because it's advertised on this website and others as weighing 3-3.01 pounds, and I need a lightweight laptop for travel. However, I was skeptical upon holding this that it was that light, and indeed my kitchen scale shows that it weighs at least 3.4 pounds, and the power adapter adds 0.6 lb to that for a total of at least 4 pounds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
