Good sound, pointless additiinal tech
on March 17, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are Cleer's Arc 5 open ear headphones. These basically hook on your ear and balance with weight on the back bit. I prefer this style for exercising, just for hearing my surroundings when running and general cleanliness from sweating. It might take a little getting used to this style, and it depends on the type of exercising you do how well they stay on. For me standard running and walking they work great and stay in place. These have a IPX7 waterproof rating. For sound quality they seem pretty good overall for me out of the box. They easily connected to my phone to use, no app needed to use them and their base features. Which is a win for me, I really prefer not to have to have an app just to use my headphones. They do also have multi device connection so if you want them connected to your phone and something else that should work without much issue. You will need the app for more fine tuning controls, equalization and updating the firmware on the case. That it where these headphones get a little weird for me. The case has a smart screen on it so that you can control various settings from that screen instead of opening the app on your phone. But you still need the app on your phone and connected to the case to access a lot of features. The app seems fairly bare bones and glitchy. The headphones also have a
lot of the standard tap and press features to change songs, pause, answer calls ect. I guess maybe depending on how you are carrying things while using the headphones the screen on the case gives you better access to adjust settings than opening your phone. But overall I don't see massive benefits of the screen. It just seems like a bit of over engineered tech that wasn't really needed. It will probably come down to personal use cases. There are a lot of different features with these, like find my headphone, having one or the other on and that being visible which is on. You can also turn them off when not in the case to save the battery in the headphones themselves. The case also holds a separate charge, to power the screen and recharge the headphones when they are put back in. The headphones magnetically attach in the case and the case has a magnetic closure. There is a mirror inside the top lid of the case. The case also does UVC sterilization every time you open and close it and it shows that on the screen what percentage it is at, it does it very quickly. Battery life seems decent, I used them for a few hours a day over the course of a week and the screens where still saying they only hit half battery. So good for traveling, and they use a standard usb-c, which it does come with, so charging them should not be an issue at all. The only thing I don't like and have minor concerns over is the vague "AI" enhanced microphone for calling. The information on how that is processed and potentially data collection is vague to non existent. So to me that is a potential privacy concern there. Overall the headphones themselves are good. But everything around them, the case and app seem over engineered and almost designed to limit the life on them based on how long they update the software for it. I'd recommend never connecting the app to maybe avoid those issues.

Super comfortable and fantastic sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are SO cool! Super comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time. I wear these typically on long walks or everyday in the house when I'm cleaning or what not. The sound quality is fantastic. It's got good base and treble. The microphone works great. Use it constantly to talk to people and they have had no problems hearing me. The case is absolutely awesome. Love the mirror inside of you're on the go and need to see to put them in correctly. The outside of the case is awesome as well. You can check the battery life or toggle settings. It also serializes the headphones every time you put them back in the case! These are definitely my new favorite go to headphones!

A party in your ears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the sound quality of these headphones, I am impressed beyond words. The Dolby Atmos feature truly makes it feel like movie theater surround sound. I've only tested it with music on both Spotify and YouTube and I can literally hear all layers of each song (drums, base, etc.). I additionally like that this goes on your ear not in it, Similar to regular headphones without the bulkiness. I just wish that the over the ear design was a little more adjustable. I have tiny ears so I always have a problem of headphones falling out. But I'll try using them to workout to see how it plays out. I saw that the app has mixed reviews but I didn't have any issues. Added plus, the case disinfects the headphones.

Good headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off: they aren’t bone conducting headphones, but small speakers sit over your ears.
That being said, they are nice headphones. Sound quality is good, they stay on my ears well (even with glasses!), and the battery life on them is crazy good. I’ve been using them for over a week (a couple hours a day typically), and the case is still at 70%.
Also, the case is very fancy. Touch screen with lots of settings options, and it apparently sterilizes the headphones after each use.

Impressive quality and features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never thought I’d have the chance to try Dolby Atmos to listen to music or movies, but having that feature with these is awesome! The carrying case is small and easy to put in your pocket, but also isn’t too tiny where you’d lose it easily. One of the coolest features is the UV light that sanitizes the earpieces while they charge. The earphones fit very comfortably but take a bit to figure out how to use. My only big issue is that I wish they were more comfortable to wear while lying down on a pillow, but that is something difficult to find with most earphones or headphones.
Overall, the sound quality is incredible and the Atmos feature truly makes a difference. The battery life has been great so far and I am loving these!

Best I’ve ever used
on March 12, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m thoroughly impressed! From the start, the instructions were easily understood and I was able to quickly pair the headphones with my iPhone. The sound quality is amazing. These are by far the best and highest quality earphone I’ve ever used. I love that the inside of the case has a mirror. Perfect for a quick peek when working out or on the go. I found the case and headphones themselves to be incredibly lightweight. I could barely notice them on my ears. The integrated touchscreen on the case is a little mind blowing. You can change songs, control volume, change your background, and other settings all from the case. All around A+ product, you truly won’t be disappointed!

Open ear headphones
on March 12, 2026
Posted by: ChristieS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very interested in these open ear headphones because traditional ear buds typically hurt my ear. Unfortunately, these also hurt my ear at the top. Just the way they sit creates pressure on a part of my ear. With that said my husband and children tried them and had no issues. I’m guessing it’s going to depend on the shape of your ear. They function as expected. Easily connect to blue tooth. I dislike that I have to download an app to be able to turn on & off certain settings honestly. The voice activation to control volume and skip songs works. They are portable but the case is more slim but kinda wide. They sound decent.
