I got this because it is a good size and I thought Igloo was a solid product. I tried it at home first. I filled it halfway with ice and the rest with cold water. I left it in my kitchen not near any appliance. At 15 hours, most of the ice had melted. At 18 hours, the ice was gone and the water was cold. I cannot imagine how much less time the water would stay cold when outside in a warmer environment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The handle hinges are weak

The bottle is great! The handle is terrible! It broke after 2.5 months of use. They don’t sell replacements, so now i have a useless water bottle :/ {idk if hinges is the correct word but the golden part}
