The perfect mixer

This is by far the best stand mixer I have ever had. It is absolutely amazing and every way I can’t wait to get more attachments. There’s so many things that I can use this for.
I bought this one to replace a 20 yr old one that stopped working. The new one has a different pitch to the sound that the motor makes that is actually VERY difficult/unpleasant to listen to. I hope that this goes away after some use. (docked 1 star for sound) I have only used it to make whipped cream so have not put any strain on it as of yet (ie cookie dough, etc.). I am hoping that the new one works as well as my previous one did. I also got the smaller 3qt bowl. It works so much better for smaller ingredient amounts and wish that I would have purchased one sooner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned this mixer for almost 10 years, and overall it has been a dependable appliance in my kitchen. It’s powerful, durable, and has handled everything from cookie dough to bread with ease over the years.
However, my biggest frustration is when adding flour. Even on the lowest speed, it still flings flour everywhere — and that’s with the pouring shield attached. It creates a mess on the counter and makes what should be a simple step more frustrating than it needs to be. For a mixer of this quality and price point, I would expect better control at low speeds.
Despite this issue, it has held up well over time. If the flour splatter problem were improved, it would be nearly perfect.

l Iove it except for the fact you can't scape bowl when it is turning. You have to turn the whole thing off to scrape the bowl. I loved the olds ones so much more. The thought about KIDS are safer. If parents watched their kids and told them what they can and can't do for their safety it would be a better world, now. Wouldn't it?! My opinion I like it better than a hand better. it does a good job. But
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little disappointed that the set didn’t include everything pictured in the ad on your site! The part missing was an attachment that looks like it would wipe the bowl side while it mixes. We could see in the packing where it would have been had it been packed correctly. It took away some of the excitement of getting the mixer... otherwise it works perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a tiny issue with the original mixer I received, but warranty/replacement process and related service was fast, efficient, and attentive. What a difference and huge step up from my old hand mixer (which only speed 4 worked)! I've quickly made it the most used small appliance in my kitchen.
