My husband bought this for me as an early Christmas present because I've been going on and on for years about how I've wanted one ever since I was younger and saw a late night promotional video for one. Let me tell you what, the promo didn't even come close to doing justice for this product and all it's capabilities. This it heavy enough to keep is stable despite how quickly it mixes or how thick the mixture itself is. Not only is it handy and so quiet compared to hand held mixers but oh my goodness it's just flat out beautiful. The design is so sleek and classic that it fits in with any kitchen decor from vintage to modern. I've already made enough with this to cause my poor husband to gain three pounds in not even a month and trust me, he's not complaining. This stand mixer is by far the best kitchen purchase and gift I've ever been given, absolutely amazing.
