I received my kitchen aid mixer for Christmas. Love the color of expresso, looks wonderful in my new kitchen. The features are great and I plan to buy the pasta attachment soon. I like the big bowl and that it locks into place and that it came with a guard I can mixing and pour more ingredients thru the slot.

Love my Kitchenaid

I have always wanted one of these so when there was a rebate I had no more excuses to treat myself. I just used this to make cupcakes and prefer it to holding my mixer. I also was very excited to find the ice cream maker attachment which I am looking forward to testing out soon.

I HAD BEEN WANTING THIS MIXER FOR SOMETIME NOW AND MY HUSBAND FINALLY SURPRISED ME WITH IT FOR MY BIRTHDAY! I LOVE TO COOK AND BAKE AND THIS IS THE BEST KITCHEN APPLIANCE ANYONE COULD EVER INVEST IN! I LOVE IT! IT'S AMAZING!

I have been using it almost everyday, it is a great product that makes my cakes and breads so soft. It is easy to use, however, I found that it would be quite hot after using for several minutes.

Great machine with reservations

I have now used this machine for over a month and am generally happy with it. It is very durable and the slow speed is very quiet. My complaints and the reason that it did not get 5 stars:
Raising and lowering the tilt head is a cautious operation, hold on to it with both hands.
The switch moves from stop to full with a touch so always be conscious of using it or you will throw the contents of the bowl all over.
Because the machine is very heavy it is hard to move on the counter. I have placed mine on a cutting board. It makes it a little more noisy but much easier to move about.
