Easy clean-up

My husband bought me my mixer at Christmas as we had bought 9 previously for wedding gifts. We are both using it for recipes that we never expected, meatloaf, whisked tea breads. Plus, very easy for everyday projects. The clean-up is our favorite. The stainless bowl is just a quick rinse out and you are ready for the next recipe. The cover shield goes over the bowl while operating the mixer means all of ingredients stay in the bowl. The shoot on that ring makes it easy to add ingredients without turning the unit off. I can't believe it was in our our 41st of marriage before we purchase one!

Works well but makes noise

I've used the mixer about a dozen times in the past few months and it mixes very well and is easy to clean, but the motor occasionally makes additional noises and the beater scrapes against the bowl. I've tried adjusting the height of the beater but that hasn't helped.

Amazing Mixer!

I have wanted a KitchenAid mixer ever since I moved out of my parents' house, and I finally got one last Christmas! I have yet to run into any problems when making my cookies and cupcakes. Also, I love the large-mouth pouring shield, which is easy to use and prevents flour from flying out of the bowl. And the mixer comes in my favorite color!

Seems like it will last forever!

I received this as a gift to replace the 55 year old mixer I was trying to still use! The quality of this new Kitchen aid will last me another 55 years- to pass along to my daughter! The only issue I have with it is that is is very heavy, so it has to stay displayed on the counter because it is impossible to take it in and out every time I want to use it.The color(cobalt) is gorgeous!

This was a gift from my husband for Christmas. I had been wanting one for as long as I can remember. It was such a surprise! I try to use it for everything. It is definitely my favorite toy!

45th wedding anniversary

I am very happy with this mixer. It took me a while to figure out the screw for aligning the paddle and the bowl so that the paddle didn't hit the side of the bowl in part of its "planetary motion", but I figured it out and I'm quite happy. I want to purchase the ice cream attachment, but that has to wait until I can afford it (I hope before our 50th anniversary.
