Powerful.

This mixer is very powerful and easy to use. The new bowl spout makes putting additional material in the bowl while running much easier and with less mess. It has the traditional Kitchenaid optional attachments feature for additional flexibility. Color selection permits matching the look with existing appliances.

I purchased my mixer a month ago and have waited until I used it to write my review, I loved the color I chose green (love it), but I really fell in love with the mixer after I used it made my baking such a joy and easy, I'm an old fashioned cook and use my hands to mix the batters, and with age it gets a little much and tiresome, I spend lots of time in my kitchen and my new kitchen-aid will make my work so much easier, wish I had made the purchase years ago. Thank you for such a great machine.

I got this for Christmas and I love it - it has changed my baking world! So many new creations - so quickly. I've wanted one for years and I feel like the luckiest girl now! And its yellow!

What I've wanted for years

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Don't be like me and waste your money buying other hand or stand mixers. I am 40 years old and went through 3 hand mixers (still have one) and 1 stand mixer before finally getting the kitchen aid stand mixer. It is so nice to make whipped cream, just put your ingredients in, turn it on and go work on something else in the kitchen. The all metal design and powerful motor will definitely make it last. When my daughter gets her first place, I will buy her one as a house warming present, and some day will be able to pass mine down to my oldest granddaughter. I love that you get three attachments standard and look forward to getting additional attachments, like the ice cream maker! It looks pretty on my counter. I also love the recipes they mail me after registering my product.

No more hand mixer

I had used a hand mixer for many years and thought I didn't need a stand version. This is so much easier to work with and the kids enjoy helping. My one complaint is the way the beater that came with my model left hard-to-reach batter on the sides of the bowl. I bought the flex edge beater and like that much better. It would be nice if that came with the mixer.
