I have wanted this mixer for years, but I had a small outdated kitchen.
Just did my kitchen over and the first thing I bought was this mixer. I am
a baker so I absolutely love it. Makes baking very much easier

Sturdy and effective.

I purchased this mixer in the spring and have enjoyed using it. My only criticism is that there is not enough space between the inside of the bowl and the mixer head. If you need to ADD ingredients to the bowl, you need to stop the mixer, raise up the head, and add the ingredients. You cannot just crack an egg on the side of the bowl and dump the egg into the mixture--not enough room.

After years of coveting them from afar, I received a KtichenAid Artisan series stand mixer as a wedding gift (a bit cliche, I know). It is simply life changing! It mixes thoroughly and smoothy with minimal mess. The bowl is surprisingly easy to clean, and it looks fabulous on my counter. I'm so happy with my mixer!

I love it. It has more power than my old Classic and especially the bowl with a handle & the splatter guard. It just awesome.

Why did I wait so long to buy a Kitchenaid!

I have had my Kitchenaid mixer forabout 3 months now and have used it a number of times. It does have the power for mixing large batches of cakes, icings, etc. I bought this to replace a Sunbeam mixer (7 years old) that gave up when I tried to mix a triple batch of icing. I tend to go through mixers a lot. My sister has told me for years that I should have a Kitchenaid - that it's the last mixer I'll ever have to buy. I finally listened to her.
