I purchased this approx. a month ago and got an ice cream freezer accessory so far. My first 2 batches of ice cream and 1 batch of sorbet turned out excellent. I'm loving the ability to walk away and know the job is being done on the treats and also on things such as mashed potatoes and chocolate mousse. This mixer is going to get a lot of use.

I did a lot of research and decided to get the Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is a high quality appliance and I am very satisfied with my Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is very efficient and powerful, and cuts my cooking time to a fraction. I was using an electric hand held mixer up til now and there is no comparison. It makes cooking from scratch a breeze! I am planning to get a grinder attachment and pasta attachment as well.
